The place is clean and well kept. There's ton of flyers and information about businesses and events near the front of the restaurant. Now, the food was okay. Some of it was decently flavored, like the Philly Cheese Bae and Mac, and the Cauliflower was well breaded. But in general, the food ultimately lacked depth. For instance, after eating past the breading on the Cauliflower, the Cauliflower itself didn't have much on it to deepen the flavor. It stopped at the breading. Lastly, the service seemed rushed. It was clear they wanted to close the store earlier than the stated closing time, so we quickly ate the food and left.

“Plant Bae” is a 100% Vegan Restaurant located at 175 Lee Street in Montgomery Alabama. First off the location is great because it is very convenient being near the Rosa Parks Museum, Hank Williams Museum, State Capital Building, Downtown River Park, and many other attractions! Parking outside of Plant Bae is metered, abundant, and easy to access. The first thing I noticed walking up to the restaurant was great outdoor seating options and many smiles from all the various people who were dining. The vibe at Plant Bae was immediately welcoming. Once inside you notice more variety of seating options, a cooler with to go items including various house made Sea Moss Gel bottles, and a merchandise rack with cute Tshirts. What I loved about ordering is that Plant Bae has a digital menu that allows you to input your own order. The screen makes it fun and easy to order exactly what you want and exactly the way you want it. You can also place your order with one of the friendly staff members behind the counter. While you wait for your meals (which come out very fast) you’re in luck because Plant Bae offers free Wi-Fi for guests and clearly advertises the password. We ordered the brand new “Soul Roll”, a sweet potato based smoothie, the house made burger with a side of cauliflower wings, and the gluten free Charlie Bae rice bowl. All of the food was SUPERB but I really want to highlight the Soul Roll because I am personally a former cheese lover and this Soul Roll was CHEESEY CHEESEY CHEESEY! The blend of vegan beef crumbles, various cheeses, collard greens, and Mac-N-Cheese in an Egg Roll style wrapper was very enjoyable for me. The prices are very fair for all of the menu offerings and I think non vegans would absolutely love this restaurant too. If you’re having an upcoming event PlantBae can even offering catering for your event! I love this restaurant and I am very happy it exists. Highly recommended 👍🏽👍🏽

Plant Bae … Today’s crowd may have overwhelmed the employees and I’m unfortunately disappointed. I dined in with my parents who both ordered burgers, a side of cauliflower wings and fries. I received the loaded cheesesteak fries. I actually ordered the Que Bae Roll which I’m aware is only available part time; however I wasn’t made aware of its availability (on this day) until after my parents received their food… we also didn’t receive our drink until we reminded the server, which was after we were done eating; we saw that was a rush and want to give the server grace. Lastly it seems like the quality of the food was lacking compared to our visits in the past (wings fried too hard, ect.) Are the burgers smaller now? All in all, as a vegan visiting my home town I do wish for better options.

I was headed back from Florida to Atlanta and saw this restaurant in Montgomery. I was happy to find that it was just a few minutes of a highway, so I didn’t have to go too far out of my way. It was pretty busy, but they had me in and out in 15 minutes. Friendly spot, definitely worth a stop

Ridiculously good, I have only Door Dashed from here twice so far, but I am absolutely impressed!!!

Let's see where do I start, loved it. Upon entering the establishment it appeared simple yet welcoming. The food starting with the burger was seasoned to perfection, the Sydney patty texture was ok with a few clumps and the Brooklyn patty was great with a uniform texture and it took well to the seasoning. The cheese and sauce, both awesome with a unique flavor. The fries were a mixture of sweet potato and regular fries which gave me a sweet and salty vibe, with the sweet potato fries having the perfect amount of sweetness. I would say regardless of if you're looking for a vegan meal or not, I would definitely put them on your list of restaurants to try.

I saw that Montgomery had an Vegan restaurant and I was so excited! I ordered the Philly cheese bae and the plant bae burger. I waited almost 1 hour for my food. My order was mistakenly given away to another customer and there was no offer to rectify this. I just waited and the person handing out the orders tried to give me the wrong order two times after that. Ultimately when I got the food, I was hoping to feel like the wait was worth it but the burger was cold. Very underwhelming in flavor. Ingredients don’t seem fresh or high quality. Did not even finish the burger. I thought the Philly cheese steak was better in flavor but again, not high quality ingredients being used. Lastly, the fries were not thoroughly cooked all the way through and I was very dissatisfied. I will always leave the constructive criticism to take customer service seriously and apologize immediately when mistakes are made. Then from there see what you can do to make the customer happy. Won’t be back due to terrible service and no attention to detail.
