Pretty cool place to check out. We were in Auburn for my son's birthday, to check places out. The museum was a cool surprise in this beautiful town. It was cool to see the jail cell, old electronics that changed the advancement of human kind for the better. Old phones. Old medical supplies, and farming tech. A real cool place to check
I found the museum to be a very wonderful and lucky way to spend time while waiting for an appointment. The exhibits were very professional and well together. Towards the end was a wonderful film that was very entertaining to watch. Their museum covered such locally, relevant topics, such as growth of technology, the railroad, and the transportation of goods.
Great little museum, we learned a lot about the area and the indigenous peoples. A fun stop with educational value. It isn't big, but it's worth a stop.
Very informative guide, we learned the history of the Auburn jail, complete with the "women's jail" outside, and UNDER THE CEMENT STAIRS!!😱 We had a great time, this a fun, free activity to do in Auburn.
Located in the courthouse, you'll have to go through security and metal detector to enter - no worries, the officer was very nice. This museum, located on the ground floor, is small but thorough and free. I loved the nod to Native Americans and the variety of exhibits. The Wanted bulletin board was very interesting to read. You could easily spend an hour here. Would recommend for anyone visiting the area
Love this museum been going here since I was a kid. Love the history the jail under stairs outside. Cool to check out. Kids enjoy it every time.
Very nice free museum with lots of local history! Loved speaking with the woman inside. She was extremely knowledgeable. I actually stayed longer then I'd expected, because she was such a breath of fresh air :)
Really enjoyed seeing telephones, tvs etc that most kids today never heard about..
Shady and cold trail this time of year. Relatively flat and wide trail, includes a closed mine, area for rock climbing and picnic area. Right on the river. Great for dogs.
Double double whole grill add pickles all day! Have had it in three states and CA always does it best. Load that animal fry like itâs nobodyâs business. Drive thru was 15 cars deep and we had our food within 7 minutes. This spot is conveniently
The hotel was pretty good. Our room had two beds, a couch with a pullout mattress beneath it, and a TV. It also had a large window and closet. The only con is that it doesnât have a main room light, only a few smaller ones. We ate breakfast at the
