This place was great. I went there in January 2021 and the staff were very friendly and polite and always greeted the customers whether they entered or left the place. Ordered garlic knots and a meatball sub and it was very good. The food was overall delicious. Garlic knots were nice and fresh and so was the meatball sub. If anyone happens to go on outing nearby and looking for a place to eat, then I highly suggest you go there because the staff are very polite and friendly.
Always a great place to take your family. Food is delicious and the atmosphere had a clean and warm feel.
I got the eggplant parm. It was delicious! I don’t get out to this area much and was pleasantly surprised at the quality of the service and food. The lighting and music volume were just right as well. They offered me a box without me even asking. 5 stars!
Got take out, lasagna disappointed. Mostly mozzarella cheese that was burnt on top. Basically no layers of noodles and filling seemed like it was all mozzarella cheese threw it out never again!
The pizza and the rest of their food is very good. The atmosphere is nice
They make really good food and have an excellent sauce recipe . I got a chicken Parm hero and it was HUGE. Prices are good too
Until I moved away, this was my preferred restaurant of choice. Ive been a weekly customer for 30 years, and have seen it through thick and thin. There were a lot of unwanted and unliked changes when ownership changed hands a while ago. I miss the old booths, I miss the old prices, and I miss the difference in atmosphere from the two sides of Pizza Village. You used to be able to choose either the restaurant side for a longer more official meal, or the quick hangout side where you could grab a slice and play some classic arcade machines. Now the two sides are very similar. I also dislike the fact that the quick side replaced the fish tank(always a hit with the kids) and added a TV. The TV just feels wrong and out of place. I could very well be going completely off nostalgia, but nevertheless, I miss those things that gave Pizza Village its character. On the positive side... They kept the old recipes from the previous owner, and offer a killer pasta sauce! The pizza is very unique, and maybe not for everyone, you can appreciate its flavor. There has also been an expansion of the menu, with more options for people who don't want pizza or pasta. Their salads have improved greatly over the years. Portions are very good, I would say too good. I would probably prefer smaller portions at lesser prices. Kudos for keeping the iconic Peter Wing original paintings on the wall too!
Pizza is okay. Service isn't great, They forgot my order twice and had me sitting twice for 20 plus mins.
Best bread outside of Arthur Ave. Bravisomo! Also recommend the crumb buns, pizza crusts and refrigerated pastas especially the manicotti. When I am in need of a true hoagie sub like a Cheesesteak ask for the grinder rolls in the back. If only Google
We were coming home from vacation. This was a good place to stop just to take a break. It's our second time here doing the same thing. Outhouses there which are well maintained. There's places to sit in the view are the lake is nice. You can also dri
Such a great place to visit if you love trains & history. A small museum but packed full of interesting memorabilia. Definitely worth visiting. Conveniently located on the Dutchess Rail Trail. Nice day trip, visit museum, walk the rail trail & then
On Feb 3rd we had a retirees luncheon at Villa Negrelli. Most of the retirees came from nyc and Westchester County. As always Chef Diego outdid himself. We started with a large tray of Buffalo wings. The wings were large and succulent. Then Chef Dieg
Longtime family favorite restaurant. My grandparents and parents used to come here for our major family celebrations. Dined here this evening - penne alla vodka was delicious as always. The bread is yummy, service is friendly, and make sure to l
Railroad themed, tavern style bar in the bottom level of a local, extended stay inn. Steps from the Dutchess County Rail Trail. Down home feeling and working class atmosphere. Not unusual to see the prison guards and Sanatation workers or the local
