Pizza King - Pizza restaurant in Dayville - 430 Ledge Rd, USA

A treasure in the woods! We were out this way and decided we wanted pizza. Typed pizza into Google maps, and this popped up, we're glad it did! The inside is different from a standard "sit down" restaurant. We were immediately greeted by the friendly staff, given menus, and told to sit wherever we wanted. Once ready to order, come up to the counter / bar. We ordered 2 small garden salads, one with no olives and french dressing, the other with house dressing and how it comes. Salads were fresh and crunchy, and the house dressing was excellent! It's made daily. Mine was standard French dressing. We ordered their gourmet meat lovers pizza large. Talk about a heavy, thick, MEATY pizza piled. The crust was thin underneath but had the PERFECT crunchy yet melt in your mouth experience. The sauce had the perfect amount of acidity to compliment the savoryness of the meats and cheese. 100% we will be back, 40 minutes from where we live, but it's worth the trip. The only thing that could use some improvement is the restrooms, kinda small, dim lights, and antiquated. We didn't have the opportunity to go on the deck as it was ugly heavy rain outside. I'm sure the views are phenomenal.

Can't say enough about the stuffed mushrooms!! The absolute best I've ever had! Must try. Of course the other food was top notch too.

Today's food adventure brought us to the coolest place we've been to in ages! Pizza King? Absofrickenlutely! Someone needs to bring him a bejeweled crown! Totally off the beaten path, nestled in the wood, alongside a beautiful pond. Outdoor seating is a must when you come! Our view was stellar. The food??? Beyond stellar! It's always these cool out of the way places that have the best food! They even have pitchers of soda! No one does that anymore! We started with the wings. They come in so many flavors we got a 20 piece with 10 garlic Parm and 10 regular Buffalo. There is a XXX Buffalo that comes with a waiver...we opted not to do those tonight. The pizza we chose was The King Cheeseburger! It was like a deconstructed Bic Mac only BETTER! This place is worth the trip!!! See the pics and you'll understand why!

This was our first time here since the previous owners. Truly a welcoming environment, they clearly hold a special place for Pizza King and it shows. The food was great, the owners were kind and spent time talking with us and sharing their story. Will absolutely be back and plan to bring family and friends. Beyond happy and grateful to have Pizza King back ❤️

Now THIS is pizza! Drove up from Moosup after hearing some great things about this place and the new owners...was not at all let down!! I called in my order right before closing and as bad as I felt, they had no problem waiting a few extra minutes for me to arrive. Super nice couple running the place that really know how to make people feel at home. The pizza here goes above & beyond. I just tried a plain but I was met with an insanely delicious amount of gooey, quality, obviously fresh cheese. The sauce & crust were also phenomenal. It's an experience in itself, never mind the awesome atmosphere this place has to offer. I'm so happy to see a family-owned business like this taking off. These guys are doing such a great job and are 100% worth checking out. They've made a regular out of me! Support local!!

One of my favorite places for pizza! All pizza is made with the freshest ingredients ...and the gooeyest cheese makes for the best pizza experience. I have been coming to this quaint -middle of nowhere restaurant on the lake for 25 years. Life has had so many changes for me, but thankfully, Pizza King has never been one of them. Still as quaint and delicious as ever! The new owners and staff are wonderful! My favorite memories are here on the lake, for sure!

Food was so good went there twice in one day once for lunch with my daughter and the second time with my wife and daughter. My wife loves chicken parm and she said it was the best one she has ever had. Will definitely be going more often.

Had heard about this place for a while. Finally made the trip and I'm glad I did. It's literally out in the woods, right on a big pond. Nice fireplace inside made it even better. It's not a fancy spot, just good homey New England rustic. My wife and I got 'the King" pizza, and it was awesome!I'll be back. They are under new management now, and don't have a liquor license yet. For now it is BYOB. The pizza was really good though.
