The Pixie & Bill’s Mixed Grill : Filet medallions basted in a soy-ginger Dijon sauce, sautéed seafood cake, and blackened shrimp. Served with garlic mashed potato and grilled zucchini.
Rum Runner’s Rib Eye : Spice rubbed and grilled, served in a dark rum and soy marinade, with sautéed mushrooms and garlic mashed potato.
Awesome!
Everything was amazing from the time we walked in. We were seated in a timely manner. Our waitress Marissa was fabulous. Kept our drinks full ( Cosmo)and didn't over bother. She was wonderful. Best waitress I've seen in a long time. The food was so amazing. I order the mixed grill. Blackened shrimp, filet magdallions, crab cake(best) grilled zucchini and rice pilaf. Steak was cooked to perfection. It was all so good!!!
Creme bru le for dessert that I failed to get a picture of. But was fabulous as well. If you've never been, just go!! It's so worth it!
Overview shows that this is a fine dining restaurant. It could’ve been a long time ago based on how many fine dining places were located in a predominantly farming community. With the rise of plethora of chain fast food franchises serving the students of Clemson U and the plentiful NBQ shacks, one would assume so until you enter the restaurant
First image of an old large house with white tablecloths until you touch it. They are plastic. Excellent view and practical but not for fine dining ( napkins were cotton). The waiter a very polite young man offering excruciatingly slow and ineffective service (wine bottle was so late we had to wonder where he went, request fir second bottle was met with curious surprise)
The third issue is in my opinion unacceptable one Serving home baked bread with one little dab of marge time NOT BUTTER. To our protests, the answer was “we always serve margarine”. Not in the fine fine dining places I eat and pay $50 per person.
In a farming community where they go through the trouble if baking their own bread (unless they don’t) they serve margarine! The happy Cow Creamery is 45 min away!
The food was good. The pork chop excellent the filet medallions hood the chicken Marsala ok and the baked seafood medley minus the crab indicated on the menu was-just ok. There us a real fine dining place in Clemson with similar prices and that’s where I will be when I want fine dining. Or 5 min down the road in Pendleton.
Food is very average at best! It gave me diarrhea bigtime. We had a table of four tonight and putting it mildly, the service was beyond terrible. It was slow, the server was very inexperienced, I went the entire meal without a drink at all, dirty dishes on table from appetizers to the end. A “high end” restaurant should really train their staff. I hate going out and paying $200+ for bad service and bad food. We’ll not go back!
The salmon special was outstanding. Great wine menu and service was superb, Anna served us and was personable, professional and helpful. The grilled asparagus appetizer was excellent. Hosts/owners were friendly and welcoming even though we were early, before they opened. Highly recommend. Can't wait to return and try a dessert crepe.
Lobster bisque was very good. Wife had Ahi tuna and like it a lot. Shrimp in my spicy shrimp and grits was WAY overcooked so it was tough. Grits were almost runny. We were seated along the front of the building in what looked like a converted overhang and it was cold. Lived here 10 years and now I understand why we avoided P&B.
This is our go-to place when we want an excellent
dinner, especially on special occasions. The food, service, and atmosphere never let us down.
Audrey took excellent care of me. The lobster and shrimp were delicious, alas I could not eat it all. I was staying in a motel and traveling the next day so I had to carry the memories and no midnight snack....LOL!
Definitely a must if you are in town. I'm glad Wendy's lost the toss!
Cheers

Small place that packs a big punch! They have an incredible collections of gems and precious stones and even a fluorescent stones room. They have gems from many places in SC, which is super cool to see. The adjacent room to the gems is full of fossil
My family and I stayed at the Shepherd Hotel in Clemson for graduation in December. We could not have been more impressed with the hotel and staff! We arrived at midnight and the front desk person immediately helped us with bags, checked us into ou
Located in a business center right off the highway. Very convenient to get to from any direction. Outside decor blends in with the other buildings but once you step inside, different ballgame. Very elegant and clean. The only difficult decision is wh

This is a fantastic little hotel. Rooms are spacious and very clean. We were in town for a dog event and the staff could not have been more accommodating. The front desk had dog treats and bandannas. They are Such a friendly group we will definitely
Anita is an absolutely fabulous owner. She takes care of her workers and make sure all of the guests have the best possible eating experience. I highly recommend coming to this restaurant.
One of the best family owned restaurants around. The staff, the food, the experience is amazing!!! Be sure to check this place out when in Clemson. You won't be disappointed. The owner George is an amazing human being that takes pride in his res
We walked there from the waterfront park. The kids had a wonderful time. We really enjoyed the swing and everything. To be down town it's quite peaceful!
This is my first time at a Raising Cane's and it was delicious. It's affordable and gives you a lot of food. And the cashiers were nice and helpful.
