Pitman Place at Ocean Grove - Bed & breakfast in Ocean Grove - 20 Pitman Ave, USA

Enjoyed a comfortable 3 night stay at the Pitman Place on Bridgefest weekend. |This B&B was not only reasonably priced, but very clean and well maintained. |My room was located on the second floor and shared a bathroom down the hall. |The mattress was to die for, talk about comfortable, as you never know what to expect or how you’re going to feel in the morning. Wished I could of taken the mattress home|The staff was very friendly and my brief interaction with the owner Lisa was very pleasant. As I added night to my already booked stay, she kept me in the same room. |They served a complimentary breakfast, which consisted of freshly cut fruit, an egg-veggie casserole, assortment of yogurt, toast, bagels juice and coffee. |This B&B is locate within a short walking distance to the beach, shops, restaurants and the Great Auditorium . Oh, a just a block down from the famous Days Ice Cream !!! |Looking forward to stay here for Bridgefest 2025

Arrived as guests, left feeling like family thanks to Gene and Terri! From the moment we arrived until the moment we left, we felt important and spoiled. Thank you Gene and Terri❤️ Location central to everything beautiful Ocean Grove has to offer. So close to the beach. We could see the ocean from front porch. Room exactly as described. Room 103- shared bath. No issues. Breakfast was fresh, delicious and the coffee was on point! Check in and check out easy breezy. No issue with parking. We will 100% be back! Lynne & Grace

Great location, just one block to the beach and a few blocks to downtown restaurants and shops. Asbury Park is just a 10 minute walk! The Inn was recently remodeled and has a clean, beachy decor. Breakfast was awesome! Fresh fruits, yogurt, bagels, oatmeal, fresh coffee and tea. They even had waffles on Sunday morning! Lisa, the owner, is so friendly and helpful with anything you might need. I enjoyed my stay here and will definitely be back!

We had a great weekend stay at the Pitman Inn. We booked the wrong room but Lisa was so accommodating and gave us a free upgrade. The room was basic and small but clean and very comfortable with WiFi and air conditioner. Can’t beat the price for location and awesome free breakfast included! All the staff were so nice and friendly. The breakfast was my favorite part. I will definitely be back in the near future!

I’m so happy to have found this B&B! ||What a great find. Lisa the host made everything perfect for our stay. Early check-in was greatly appreciated. Homemade breakfast was more than we expected! ||The inn is clean and newly renovated. We opted for the budget room with a shared bathroom on the first floor. The bathroom was clean and fresh clean linens were provided daily. Cranking AC In our room. ||Literally this is one short block to the beach! The other way is one block to an amazing ice cream shop! Another short walk is shops and restaurants. Fantastic location.||I hope to come back next year!

Pitman place is a gorgeous, cozy hotel/inn down the shore. The beds are comfy, the place is clean, the owners are kind, and the breakfast option is 11/10. Pitman place is located about a block and a half from the beach, and there are shops, restaurants, and other fun shore locations within walking distance. In other words; it’s the perfect spot to stay awhile.

My husband and I had a wonderful time! The room was clean and neat. Breakfast each morning! 1-Block from the beach easy walk to restaurants! Lisa the owner answered all our questions, Lori who works at the inn knew all the great restaurants! It was a fantastic stay! We will go back. Linda & Dennis

Absolutely phenomenal experience and such a steal for being a block from the shore during season. Lisa was a responsive and gracious host, all details were paid attention to, the recent remodel is beautiful and everything was super clean. Breakfast was a beautiful spread!! We will definitely be staying here again given the opportunity.
