I love this place ! Just have one minor complaint; they recently got rid of jalapeños and stopped cutting their veggies into smaller pieces - so the chunks are bigger. I usually add jalapeños when I get home and cut my veggies.
Fantastic foods, and very friendly service. Would highly recommend to anyone, especially if you’re looking for vegetarian/vegan options.
We both had a large vegan pita. It had falafels, hummus, tomatoes,cucumbers, onions and a sauce. Also a side of cauliflower. Very delicious! I was impressed. Not many wholesome options eating out but this was great. There was also some meat options. But, I highly recommend this menu for vegetarians!!!
Springfield is severely lacking in authentic Mediterranean food. But look no further than Pita-or-Bowl. The food is fresh and delicious - truly authentic to the region, but the customer service is phenomenal, what it used to be decades ago: friendly, attentive, and knowledgeable. I recommend this new place (<2 year old) to anyone who values high-quality food, friendly service, and great prices. Pita-or-Bowl will be a new regular lunch option!
Everything was amazing. I'm pretty picky but I didn't try anything that didn't taste amazing and the service was great too. Even the lentil soup was delicious. The service was wonderful thank you for being so helpful in explaining what everything was. 💯 percent recommend.
Cute place! Fresh made to order food. Much variety, can really change things up so it is unique. Their chicken schwerma is so flavorful, paired with pickled onions it is a flavor explosion in the mouth. The pita chips are so light and flaky, I considered getting more "just because. " Definitely will be back.
I love this place, it is tried and true. I go here all the time and I’m on a first name basis with the staff. I’m so glad we have this place in Springfield, as it is tough to find many healthy options, or even this type of variety. The food is fresh and delicious. You won’t find a tastier plate of chicken and rice anywhere.
My compliments to the owner for paying attention to google reviews and providing a swift resolution to an issue I posted about a few weeks ago. I complained that the chicken had gotten gristly, and by the next time I ordered, it had been fixed. The owner obviously consulted with the cooks immediately because the chicken is back to being great. I have ordered the chicken shawarma multiple times and I can confidently recommend it to everyone again!

I've been wanting to come by Pita or Bowl for a long time. Everything is amazing. I should have gotten the small bowl. I got the medium with two proteins and I am stuffed with quite a bit left over for tomorrow.
I happened to walk in just before a very large group placed an order. The women working the front of the store were very professional and proficient in taking 10 orders at once.
Yes, my wait was a little longer but I didn't mind one bit. Great veggies and sauces too. There are a ton of different options and everything was fresh and delicious.

This is an old city experience that reminded me of neighborhoods in old east coast cities like Boston or Philadelphia. It's a quiant neighborhood bar and restaurant with the atmosphere of a 90 year old place that hasn't changed very much. Loved it. T
