My husband and I frequently visit the Pisgah Inn Restaurant and enjoy both sunrise and sunset views on the property. There are rocking chairs to sit in and a nice deck connected to the restaurant and gift shop to stand and take in the beautiful mountain views. We love the French onion soup and trout! The service is always friendly and good. The gift shop has a lot of nice items too. Overall, a very cozy and peaceful place to visit on the Blue Ridge!

Our entire stay was ruined by your horrible restaurant manager. We stayed one night to celebrate our anniversary. We loved the room and the view was phenomenal. We had a delicious meal and wonderful service in the restaurant. We had closed out our tab and were finishing the last few sips of wine before leaving when then "manager"/hostess came up and told us our time was up for our reservation and we needed to leave. We were never ever informed there was a time limit when we were seated. She was horribly rude and completely unprofessional. We confronted her about her behavior and the situation to which we got a smug, curt reply. This woman should be fired before she loses you any more business. In 30+ years of dining at great restaurants, I have never been informed I exceeded a time limit and needed to leave. It was unbelievable! Despite all the incredible things about this place, we likely won't be back because this one woman treated us so rudely.

We stayed here for two nights and really enjoyed our stay. The rooms are nice and the deck wonderful to sit on and enjoy the fabulous views of the Blue Ridge. There is also a deck by the restaurant and a few chairs down below on the grass. There is a gift shop and a grab and go area. I wasn’t impressed with the grab and go selections but the restaurant was very good. I did a separate review on the restaurant. Rooms are on two floors spread amount three buildings and there is no elevator. Really enjoyed our stay.

Absolutely stunning views and a great outdoor seating area with rocking chairs for beers/wine or a picnic. Didn't stay in the hotel, but rooms have a classic vibe. Attached to the motel is a reservation suggested restaurant with amazing views, deli, gift shop and a stunning wine bar with a great selection with a nice fireplace and more views. Plenty of parking and a general store at the enterance.

Even if you don’t have time to stay, it’s worth it to stop for a glass of wine at sunset. Their wine bar serves fine wines but it isn’t stuffy. It has beautiful views, a fireplace, and a fun host Teri who makes each of her guests feel welcomed. Highly recommended!

The Blue Ridge Parkway was beautiful. It was a foggy day, so the scenery at the Inn was not a big deal. We were hungry, and looking forward to good food. Reservations are required to eat at the restaurant, and the menu online sets you up to assume that the food is amazing. From the moment we arrived, we don't feel welcome. The Hostess makes us wait for our reservation, when there are open tables. We're seated about 10 minutes later. Our waitress is very friendly, however. She is the highlight of the restaurant. She goes over the specials of the day, to include white bean and ham soup. We order the soup. I have sweet tea and my Mom has coffee. My tea comes in a tiny glass and Mom's coffee comes COLD in a stained, worn cup. Way overcharging for these drinks, in tiny, stained conditions. We ordered salads. I wanted the pecan salad. But after comparing the salad prices, it was just silly. Five dollars more for pecans? Same salad, just adding pecans and changing the name? My Mom loves blackberries, so she got the blackberry cobbler. No blackberries were in the cobbler, just gel. The pastry wasn't cooked all the way. The vanilla bean ice cream can be gotten anywhere. Everything is extremely over priced! We drove from the NC coast for a mountain vacation. We made this reservation weeks in advance. The decor was not warm and inviting. More of a old country store feel. The tables and chairs were like your first set in your apartment. Nothing felt like a dining experience. The best thing about this restaurant was the friendly server and her great accent. All this for the white bean soup!

I went hiking up here to enjoy the fall weather and colors. There is a nice trail just below the gift shop area. They have rockers lined up out side in from of the gorgeous mountain view. The trail was great. There are a few slightly steep and rocky areas so it might be considered intermediate trail.

We ate at the restaurant and it was delicious! The fried chicken is so wonderful and crunchy. I got the quarter chicken and it was a lot. My husband got the half chicken and it was huge. The garlic mashed potatoes and coleslaw were also very good. You can’t beat the views. I would strongly recommend reservations or I don’t think you would get a table. Service was excellent.

Pretty little spot to access the water...I can definitely see how it could get a lot of use in the summer. There are metal remnants of what appeared to have been a diving board attached to the large rock - use caution as fragments are just sticking u

Great place to hike and observe God’s creation! Usually gets really crowded due to popularity, but I got lucky and actually got a parking space in the parking lot. If you are in the area and have the time, definitely worth the stop and time. It
