Under severe weather conditions, we attended the Pirate Voyage Dinner and Show and it was worth it. It started sharply at 3:30pm on a Sunday. The server paid a lot of attention to those in my section. He brought he biscuit to start and it was delicious. The roasted chicken was cooked to perfection. The corn on a cob was excellent. The potato was undercooked and too garlicky. The show was very good. The best part was the recreation of the birth of Jesus. Highly recommend this Dinner and Show.
My 5 year old grandson really enjoyed the show. The adults in our party did as well. The actors were friendly and funny. It's very entertaining. The food was good, but I wish there was a choice for young kids that was easier for them to eat.
Loved it! Had lots of entertainment variety for all ages. Interesting how they combined Christmas theme with pirate theme. Blessed they emphasized birth of Jesus. Rare these days. Acrobatics, seal act, sword fighting, juggling, fire acts, diving into Lagoon, and so much more.
Hands down worth the price of admission. Seven or seventy and everyone in between is going to love this show. The action doesn't stop and the actor's acrobatics are awesome. And they are outdone by the sea lions. A quick look around and every child is mouth agape and enthralled throughout the show. The adults aren't far behind. Some reviews go negative on the cost or the length. The show lasts over 90 minutes and is exhausting for the entertainers. It's not rushed or short rather it is just about as long as you could make it and keep young children sitting still. As far as the cost - there is one show per day with a very large cast of talented acrobats along with numerous pyrotechnics and upkeep of the animals and facilities. While not every family will be able to afford it, it is a very good deal for the price.
It was an interesting experience but a bit expensive and everything seemed " rushed" Since the moment we sat down everything was, go go go..and then it was over before you realized it. Not enough time to enjoy the food and the show properly. First of all, it's a musical for those who doesn't know it.. It was nice and entertaining specially for kids. Some acrobatics, a few cute animals that performed, and a few activities/ games for a few selected kids. The ambience is nice overall and the decor is very impressive. But once again, it's a very expensive experience. Around 300US$ for 4 . It doesn't stop with the tickets though, there's, plus and plus and plus. As soon as you walk in, you have no saying, they take your picture with a pirate background which they come and present to you, while having dinner.. It felt very pushy and imposed to buy it. You're not asked if you want it...you're asked : which one do you want ( they show you 3 printed pictures) which cost another 45US$... You don't have to but for the kids to feel "part" of the experience, there's an option of a bundle including face painting, sword, flag, pirate hat, eye patch and earring for 25US$ ( give or take, I don't remember the exact price). At least you have all you can drink soda with the meal which is not bad, it's actually tasty. The soup and chicken were perfectly seasoned, the biscuit and apple turnover were fresh and hot, the only thing mediocre was the corn, which was overcooked and dry . They offer take out bags at the end of the meal in case you can't eat everything and would like to bring it with you.
The show was awesome, very talented folks and even the servers was sure to make it exciting for the kids. Show great but good not so much. Maybe because we took a late showing - the chicken was seriously dry and they didn’t serve potatoes like we expected. I know it’s really the show we are seeing but paying close to 500$ for five people I expected a decent meal. Two years ago the chick was to die for , not so great this time :( again show was excellent!
Sunday, August 27th, was my first time seeing the show. I like the fact that it was very organized. Everyone did amazing. I would definitely go see the show again. The food was okay. I am really picky, so I just ate the chicken.
We attended the Christmas show and it was a great experience for the whole family. Be sure to arrive 1.5 hours early for the pre-show. The ordered adult drinks us grown kids and slushes for the little ones. You get to keep these skull cups. Once we entered the main event everything went smoothly getting our food and drinks. The kids aged 4 - 7 had an excellent experience that left them talking for days and telling everyone. It was also nice to learn that part of each ticket goes to a program Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library is dedicated to inspiring a love of reading by gifting books free of charge to children from birth to age five, through funding shared by Dolly Parton and local community partners in the United States, Canada, United Kingdom, Australia and Republic of Ireland.well worth the money spent.

Really 80-90s bodybuilder feel. I was overjoyed coming here . The energy during the week is amazing from the staff to the patrons. The weekends such as the Sundays tend to be more low key. The machines are well taken care of and a bodybuilders paradi
