For years, my husband and I have passed this place during our travels. On New Years Eve, we finally went there for dinner. As pirates ;) we loved the outside pirate ship theme! Inside the decor was pretty cool, too. Our waitress was fantastic. She was very attentive, and our food came out quickly. I had the Sunday ribeye special, it was cooked medium, just as ordered. Great price for delicious food. My husband enjoyed the fried clam strip and shrimp. We will definitely be returning on a future road trip.

I'll start by saying the service and decor was excellent. The inside of the restaurant is designed like a pirate ship. Our server was friendly and super attentive. The food was average at best. The scallops were waaay overcooked the broiled fish had bones in it and the crab cake lacked flavor. The prices were reasonable though All things considered, I'm giving them 4 stars

Nice clean seafood restaurant. Friendly attentive staff. No wait time. Food was fresh and delicious. Price was fair. I would definitely go there again.

The food we received was delicious and for the most part, service was good but our server was a little different. The restaurant environment was the perfect balance between "casual dinner" and "nice evening out dinner" As it is seafood, it is pricey but it is about what I expected so no complaint there. Loved the fish outside that you can feed. We will definitely come back. The outside of the building is an interesting sight as well.

We found this place using a Google search on our way back to Virginia. It looked neat so we stopped. I was absolutely thrilled to see the place and how awesome the atmosphere was. I wish I could give it a better rating but our service was horrible. The lady that waited on us seemed like she was doped out of her head and kept getting everything wrong. She also lost our ticket for our meal and asked again to remind her what we got quite a while after placing our order. When we got our food, almost everything we asked for was wrong. My wife asked for fries with her clam strips and got a baked potato. My daughter asked for mashed potatoes and got a baked potato. My daughter's boyfriend asked for no mushrooms in his pasta dinner and that was full of mushrooms. She kept forgetting to refill our drinks after asking her several times and even brought out the wrong drinks at one point. The lady kept blaming it on how busy they were and how short-handed they were but from what I gathered there was only two tables she was tending to. The people at that table were complaining that they had been there for 3 hours for their whole meal. Hopefully this was just an experience that we had and nobody else will have but we'll probably not be back because of this one incident.

Driving through and needed to stop for dinner and saw the sign coming off the expressway. Walking in I immediately thought I was in Cape May instead in North Carolina. Excellent selection of seafood meals. I decided to order my fail-safe favorite, fish and chips. It didn't disappoint. I saved the place for the next time I passing through again.

Food: pretty good. The adult Filet Mignon was substantially gristled and hard to cut. The kids enjoyed the grilled cheese and popcorn shrimp (and of course the fries). Salads were pretty good. Service: also pretty good. We were generally well attended. Atmosphere: this is what it's about especially if you're traveling through and looking for an experience with the kids (probably under 14 would appreciate it the most). Nice pirate ambiance and some neat artifacts. Other: some folks feed the fish (hush puppies?) - no sign saying not to. Worth a stop vs other fast food or other options if it's reasonably close to your intended path of travel.

We absolutely loved our waitress Jodie she was very attentive and pleasant. She was an excellent waitress! When we are in town again. We will definitely be stopping in again.

Been here three years running as an out-of-towner. Every time we come to Elkin we make it a point to stop in here. This place is very welcoming and I would give the atmosphere 100/100 if that was an option. The cocktails are very well-priced and uniq

Love stopping here when traveling up 77 back to Virginia. Just a couple miles off highway and a great setting if you are a sports fan as I am. Pizza is always awesome and they have a wide variety of very good beers too.

Nice little "hole in the wall" Japanese place. In a weird older shopping center. The man at the register said they had been in business there for 20 years! Very good food. Fair portions as well. Would definitely go back here.
