The breaded fish tacos were awful. Too much breading. The fried clam strips were mediocre. The mahi blackened sandwich was decent. The view is great and it is easy to park your boat and walk to restaurant. Lots of televisions to watch sports. Service was decent. Drinks are expensive.

Dockside bar has a great view of the marina. Service was attentive however our dinner order was delayed getting putting in to the kitchen by accident. Coleslaw was off and ruined the mahi Reuben but the blackened mahi sandwich was delicious. This was our second time there and the first time we enjoyed great happy hour drink prices. Staying at another hotel for better prices.

I really wanted to love it here and MOST of the staff was friendly! Beautiful views, easy access to great fishing spots and convenient being a marina. However, the entire vibe seems to favor the locals and bar regulars than it does the hotel guests. We are fans of evening swimming after being on the boat all day and also have a 5 year old who loves to wind down in the pool at night. We were kicked out of the hotel 2 nights at 8:00 PM. Every hotel I have ever stayed at (which is a lot as my job requires travel) closes between 9-10pm. When we asked politely why they close so early, we were told they can’t have any drunks falling in and being near the water… Valid point and appreciated, but the bar/restaurant sits ON a marina. The locked pool gate with key only access is way less of a risk in my opinion. We were respectful and already getting out but said we wish we knew this before paying $200 a night to stay for a week and the response from the employee was “I already told everyone else and there is a sign that says 8:00, you need to get out.” Sign says dawn to dusk, but we still respected the rules and just had a negative attitude greet us. Just put a bad taste in my mouth and may prevent us from coming back 😩.

The rooms were clean and it was nice to have a balcony. There is no coffee in the rooms, and except for weekends, no breakfast on site, so bring your own pot and supplies if that is an issue. There is a small fridge, but check it... during our first stay, our milk froze solid. Fridge was fine during our 2nd stay. There is a nice pool on site, and there is a live band on weekends at the sand bar restaurant. The upstairs restaurant seemed to be very quiet, except for the bar.

I had eaten here once with my Mom and we had a wonderful experience. We were hopeful to return for Mother's Day. The website provided very little information so I called to ask about reserving for Mother's Day a week ahead of time. I was told a reservation was not needed, and was provided with windows of time when I should arrive with my party. Well, when I arrived today with my family, it turns out you did need a reservation. I explained what had happened with my experience. I was told that reservations have priority because it's Mother's Day, and because I did not have one, we would need to wait for the open seating at another time block. We also had the option of going downstairs to a casual dining bar restaurant that wouldn't work for Grandma. We ended up going elsewhere, but we'll come back again at an off-peak time.

Had a wonderful time at my hometown hero’s wedding reception. Rented out the bar with a dance floor. Excellent catered dinner. Seriously, the food was excellent. Great bartenders and service. Carried the party down to the Tiki Bar where we closed the place down and had a great time into the wee morning hours. Sorry about the loud choruses of Disney songs and show tunes. Port Salerno is charming. Perfect Old Florida setting on the Manatee Pocket. Boats, palmettos, and blessedly few bugs. Thanks for the memories!

There's a restaurant beside it that's named, Pirate's Loft. I ordered the Berry Good Salad. Fresh strawberries, blueberries, baby arugula, feta cheese, red onions, caramelized pecans, asian sesame dressing. $14 It's nice to have it for lunch. Service is good. And if you park at the Pirate's Cove Resort, you will pass a charming little garden.

My husband and I spent 12 days at this wonderful hotel. It is truly a hidden gem! It is a quaint and charming hotel with 2 great restaurants with excellent food and a fantastic staff. The resort is exceptionally clean and well taken care of. Every staff member was courteous and helpful. The entertainment on the weekends was great! It was so fun watching the boats in the marina and the pelicans flying in when the fishing boats would dock. The gardens are beautiful and we sat out on the decks overlooking the gardens every morning enjoying our coffee. A big shout out to Joey, Merrie and Christina who managed the hotel lobby! They were all exceptional in making us feel welcome and were very helpful! Highly recommend and we hope to visit again next year!
