Access to the trail is relatively easy once you head to the Northwest corner of the park and reach the Entrance Station or the Park Office, and then make it all the way to the Horse grounds. At the Entrance Station, you will also find a parking area and restrooms. Once you get on the Felton Pipeline Road Trail, you will have quite an easy time getting around since the trail is paved. The trail usually has moderate traffic most of the time, so if you are looking for solitude, you are better off using one of the other dog-friendly trails in the park, such as Meadow Trail or Graham Hill Trail. Most of the trails in the park offer furtastic views of the stunning San Lorenzo River Valley, as well as close up views of the redwoods. Felton Pipeline Road Trail runs along the river on fairly even ground and has beautiful views of bigleaf maples on the right that look even more pawtacular during autumn.

Love it. Good hike to this place from Felton entrance. Roughly 3 miles round trip. Paved trail. Can also bike. Last part is uphill because of overlook.

Great shaded trail in the redwoods. The trail is paved and is good for biking, hiking, with a few spots of access to the San Lorenzo River

Nice view of the ocean through the valley. The trail leading to it is steep in some parts but very easy to walk. Paved most of the way. Dogs are allowed when on leash.

This is a lovely hiking trail among the redwoods not far from the Santa Cruz coast. It's kind of neat to hear the train whistle blow since this park is next to Roaring Camp with their amazing locomotives. But fair warning, although this trail isn't too difficult, there is an area where it's an uphill climb which can be tough for those who aren't used to it. Nevertheless, this trail is beautiful year-round and the park is also dog friendly (leashed). I've always taken this trail to the overlook and turned around after reaching the bench, so I've never actually completed the entire trail. I think it's taken us less than 2 hours total for our hikes here, where we are comfortably walking and taking many breaks.

We checked this park out while visiting family. The kids all had tons of fun!! Not sure when they made the playground. Would have loved to have something like this to play on as a kid. At least now it's there for my own children to enjoy. There was

It’s gotten a lot smoother since they added pavement although I miss the roughness of the dirt roads. Cows are happy and it’s a beautiful place for a Sunday stroll.

This is a beautiful park space. There's a fountain in the middle, concrete areas and lots of room for setting up yard games or picnics. We came during a food truck party and we're very impressed with the space :)

If you like undisturbed nature and wildlife, you'll love this place. Although it is strangely right next to a water treatment facility, once you walk past it you'll enter into a different world, surrounded by tall trees and reeds, with all sorts of b
