I love the open houses. It's a great place to go by yourself or with the family. When there's not events going on I like to go there to, it's a peaceful place to go to enjoy the day, to think, unwind, get a little exercise or even have lunch at one of the picnic tables.
We enjoyed the open house held twice a year. Volunteers shared the history of the area.
This is amazing. There are restrictions due to COVID, but so wonderful. Took my 86 year old father and he was able to tell me stories about the tools he used. The docent was soooo knowledgeable and freely shared he time and knowledge.
Such a neat little place. Great for photos and history!

Fun little place to walk around and share a bit of history with the kids. Not open for the season when we went, but still had plenty to show the kids.

Everyone was so very friendly! This was a great experience for our family. Our kids loved seeing the old buildings, getting apple cider, sugar cookies, and, of course, getting to see Santa and Mrs. Claus and get a picture! I would recommend a good pair of rain boots to get through the mud if it has rained recently, all of our shoes were absolutely covered.
Wonderful coffee shop for Searcy Cars & Coffee yesterday (07/22/23) morning. Delicious, well made lattes and toasted bagels. Lots of other lunch goodies to chose from as well. Plenty of parking and a wonderful place for an #ArkansasDodgeGang fundrais
I love little art alleys and try to check out one anytime one is mentioned. Searcy has this nook art alley right off of the historic square and courthouse. I felt safe and lights were in place. Unique murals and creative work.
