My husband and I stayed at this hostel a few weeks ago while on a road trip. It was one of the highlights if our trip. We had an incredible time meeting new people especially the owner Steve who really cares about his guests. Highly recommend this place and you can feel good about supporting a local family business!
I got the chance to stay at Pintler’s Portal Hostel for a couple weeks. Coming from someone who has done a lot of backpacking around hostels internationally, it was honestly one of the best hostel experiences I’ve ever had. Steve and Marsha are incredibly helpful and friendly. The staff went out of their way to help me at every opportunity possible. The space has a beautiful aesthetic and is in a perfect location in the adorable little Montana town. I honestly can’t recommend this place enough. They bring a lot to their community and offer a lot to their guests. I plan to go back some day and bring my family.
Solid hostel experience. Clean and modern facilities. Well located. Excellent staff.||We came in off of the Continental Divide Trail and found this hostel to be a wonderful place of calm and rest. ||We have stayed in many hostels in a handful of countries. This one is probably the best we have come across.
This place was amazing. State of the art, clean and modern. The staff was very nice and helpful and I would go there again! I love the kitchen and everything just was so nice. I got to hang up my wet tent outside and there was a nice little area to just hang out behind the building.
I’ve never stayed in a hostel, but I was so impressed with this one. It was cleaner than many hotels I’ve stayed in. The price was phenomenal. It had everything we needed: nice showers, a kitchen, wifi. The only problem was the rooms are not soundproof and our neighbors didn’t seem to realize this and kept us up past midnight.
Loveliest and beautiful hostal I have ever stayed in the USA. Staff are very helpful, kind and friendly… actually anyone you meet in this town is like that, which made me feel very safe and comfortable. This is over two hours from Yellowstone but it’s very worth it because you get to see other places in between while you’re driving to Yellowstone. Facilities are kept very clean and secure. I would recommend bringing lockers for your luggage since they don’t fit in the locker boxes. Overall I never felt insecure but just in case. Also I like how there’s surveillance cameras, huge refrigerators to store your food and very comfortable beds.
The kitchen is a dream! You have everything you need to cook any meal, it helped having somewhere to cook breakfast since we left early everyday. Would love to come back soon!
This hostel is by far the best one I been too. Rooms were pretty neat and the bed was comfortable. Showers and restrooms were clean. People there were super nice.
Everyone in my party was very impressed with the hosts of Pintles Portal Hostel ( Steve and Marsha) knowledge of the area! |The accomodations were really outstanding! |The time and space I shared with others was over and above what I had expected!|Anaconda Montana has a great little secret in their town!|I highly recommend this gem !
We had an amazing ski weekend at Sugar Loaf Lodge. Our cabin had beautiful rustic charm and was so cozy, warm and comfortable. The spiral staircase to get to the loft was a cool throwback and the views from the loft were amazing! The location is i
OMG!! This is one of the nicest parks I've ever been to. Amazing stream runs through it. Gravel and paved foot paths. They have horseshoes, a duck pond; well two that I have found, baseball fields, a nice pool, several playgrounds, amazing campfire p
Dog friendly is always a plus. Came to town and didn't have a reservation for here, but luckily they had some cancellations and we were able to get a room.
Breakfast was hot, fresh, and delicious, made from scratch. Service was top notch and very he
