Positive: There was no coffee pot in the room, and I had to leave before the coffee would be ready in the lobby of the other hotel connected to this hotel. The woman behind the desk allowed me to borrow her kettle, so I could boil water for my coffee. Negative: It's very old, and the rooms are very small. There was not a closet, and no air conditioning. Only a very old fan in the room. They had to use a few extension cords around the room, which makes one feel that might be a fire hazard.
The TV remote didn't work so we had to watch closed captions. The bed was flat as a board and hard as a rock; in the middle of the night we flipped the mattress to see if it was any better, and the cushioned part of the mattress was underneath, with stains--it was softer, but now the springs creaked. We pulled out the sofa bed and it had a thin mattress with springs you could feel. In the morning I took a cold shower because I couldn't get any hot water; my man figured out (he's smarter) if you pointed the lever to cold you got hot water and vice versa, so he got to take a shower at least. They are remodeling so the room was fresh, but if the bones aren't good it is for nothing. Don't take a chance on this place. Atrocious.
This has to be the worst experience I have ever had with a hotel. This place is straight up disgusting. We might’ve been the only ones here and they gave us the worst room in the corner. The room smells so horrible. Our bed had hairs on it, the pillows were stained yellow and even had specks on brown on it I’m assuming it’s blood. We check out shortly after checking in and they would not give us a refund.. The most disgusting hotel I have ever seen, I could not stay here and lay on that bed. Don’t stay at this place, you will most likely get bug bites.
The place is half torn down for a rebuild. Despite having many excellent open room locations they gave me the worst possible and I was probably the only customer. I left a day early because I was getting bed bug bites. Overall a dead and dirty resort.
Umm wow. This place was disgusting..we reserved 3 nights. But the moment we got there we left, and got another place..
The pillows were gross...they were yellow and had blood stains on them...the room smelled sooo bad like Indian Incenses. The bed had hairs on it..stains on the bed sheets. Do your self the favor and spend the extra. And go somewhere else..
it was okay. cheaper than other spots in the area and the room was pretty clean all things considered. the blankets were thin and the top one kept slipping off while we slept. they gave us one in the back of the lot which was odd because it was completely empty but whatever. hot water ran fine and it had decent pressure. can't really complain, we only stayed here because we couldn't extend our stay at the Washoe lodge that we originally booked.
This was our worst motel/hotel/inn stay ever. They let us check in a few hours early for a reason….. they had plenty of vacancies. ||We were here for 3 nights. I regretted booking this place minutes after we checked in and saw the room. It was a terrible decision.||They put us in one of the upstairs rooms. Advertised as having AC, there was NO AC, and just a dinghy standing fan. Nights were hot with just a fan blowing air at you while trying to sleep. ||Terrible decision #2 - there was nowhere to put my bag so I grabbed the ironing board without looking and what do you know - there was a GIANT BLOODSTAIN on the board. We were disgusted beyond belief. Looked like it was used as a murder weapon at some point. ||The shower floor also had a drop of blood at the corner where the water doesn’t really touch. ||There are sketchy individuals that stay here. There was another guest that kept trying to break into his own car throughout the night. Car alarm went off 4+ times. ||On the last night, a group of guys checked in late and started partying next door. Lots of beer, loud music, chatting into the night. Around 3am someone tried to open our door.||The housekeeper will go in everyday because there is no Do Not Disturb sign to hang outside the door. They took our can of Lysol (probably by mistake but still).||The only thing that was good was that the linens and towels looked clean for the most part. But I highly do not recommend and just avoid this place at all costs.
Read this before staying here. It was a Terrible experience, probably the worst.. After checking in and revising the room I found stained sheets and the mattress had dry pee. I requested a different room. I was told, "go somewhere else I cancel your reservation" .They would not acomodate me to another room. Extremely rude , I was disrespected and cursed at and yelled at to leave or he would call the cops. He also accused me of being the one to dirty the bed when i asked why i couldnt get a different Clean room. Why would i do that just to get a different room? Oh because I wanted to walk around at midnight with my luggage back n forth .. Absolutely unacceptable. Hope the Owner of this establishment sees this.

The place is really nice, the water is crystal clear but very cold. It's worth it to pay the $5.00 fee to see this beautiful place. In the middle of it there's an old house, scary but beautiful.
Went with my daughter and husband and came from the heavenly line since the wait at the resort was 2 hours! They helped us right away and we were able to get all the equipment we needed in a reasonable time frame. The staff are super friendly and acc
Beautiful hike to Eagle Lake that took about 30 min after the bridge. This time of year there was snow and ice on the trail that made it slippery but was worth the quick trip up and back.
Took this trail to go to Cascade Falls. It's flat for the first 5 mins or so and then becomes rocky and risky at the corners.
There is some construction work going on in the area so they have put up temporary boards marking the trail. Good job!
