Our recent stay was great! Central to everything you want to see with the comforts you need after a day of adventures. The hospitality was wonderful. Fresh coffee waiting in the morning and a delightful pair of proprietors. They ensured our stay was an experience onto its own. Being puppy friendly made our stay one to remember. If you want a getaway with a rustic flair, this is the place to stay.
Very pleased with my short stay and hope to return for a longer one. Comfortable and peaceful cabin with fridge, microwave, internet, satellite/smart tv. Norleen was most kind and had lovely things to say about her CanAmerican friends and family. I left some minor items there by mistake and she was ready to go to great lengths to get them back to me. The bedroom is a bit small due to all the helpful furniture, and the bathroom is on the large side so that is where the fridge and microwave are. AC is quiet and effective.
I really enjoyed my short stay. My cabin was comfortable and had a mini-fridge and microwave and decent stowage space plus a table of really good size and great internet, an AC that did not make weird or loud noises, and satellite TV. The bathroom was particularly spacious. My host, Norleen, was most kind and helpful, and eager to ensure my visit would be enjoyable. I stayed during high season, and for a Canadian who has to contend with a 1.35 to 1 exchange rate, the price was a little more than I'd hoped to pay for the type of accommodation involved.
Very friendly and easily the cleanest place I’ve ever stayed. Wish we could have stayed longer!
I loved it there. They are cozy little cabins. They have a full bathrooms, TV, refrigerator and microwave. They provide coffee in the morning at the office. They have a fire pit outback for people to gather. It’s nice getting to know the other guest. The office also provides the marshmallows. I would definitely go there again.
We had a fantastic night in a vintage cabin. Very clean and comfortable. They had a camp fire for us.our hosts was extremely kind. It seems like everyone that stayed there was very pleased to be there. I would highly recommend this establishment.
Extremely friendly and delightful owners. Norleen and Bert made us feel very welcome .|Pleasant, quiet surroundings.|Clean, rustic and friendly accommodations. |One of the most friendly places we have ever been to !
The room smelled from the time we entered. The bed sheets looked, felt & smelled like they hadn't been laundered in quite a while. The pillows were flat as well. We were exhausted after traveling most of the day & was thankful to find a place with a vacancy. We should have left immediately & demanded a refund. We didn't even feel comfortable taking a shower. We left around 4:30 a.m. after no sleep. It sure wasn't worth $183.11. Charge should have been $18.11. We would sleep in our vehicle before going back here.|At least the owner was "chatty"
It's a shame I couldn't give Fern Lodge six stars. Peaceful, quiet, Adirondack lodge-style luxury, and yet, not over-the-top snooty. Wendy was a warm and friendly host, as was Sharon. Breakfast was amazing! The views of Friends Lake from our room an
Our favorite winter destination! This is an excellent place to teach kids to ski! Not into skiing? Bring your sleds, ice skates, snow shoes, or cross country skis! There is grisly something for everyone. There is a tow rope for the ski hill. The warm
Very good food with wonderful plating. Variety of dishes within the style of cuisine made it very difficult to choose because so many sounded great, sooo definitely will go back if possible to try more! The staff were friendly and informative, and th
