Pine Lodge Motel - Featured Reviews (92)
I unfortunately didn't have a great experience. I had just been given my ms diagnosis, and found out not only do I have ms, but the rarest type. I needed to find a room on the fly and there wasn't vacancies in the greater Grand Rapids area as a whole and finally after being told no vacancies, I was told they had unavailability. I told them upon checking in that I would be paying daily until a weekly became available and he said that is fine, he being the husband of the duo husband and wife owners, but he wouldn't be able to tell me when a weekly would be available. So he knew my intentions from the start. I am quiet and do not have traffic or cause problems yet the same day I checked in I attempted to prepay for the next day and that is when he told me that I wouldn't be able to stay that I had to be gone by the morning sending me into chaos mode on top of being sick. I see all the reviews for how this place is quaint and cute and awesome but that just was not my experience whatsoever.
This Pine Lodge was a great getaway exclamation point the cabin's here are really comfortable and feels like a home away from home it's a single bed with the full couch TV kitchen area frigerator bathroom and also a small little off to the back side of it. I highly recommend them everybody that needs a really nice place!!!!
Owner is rude and her son was even worse. I accidentally lit my smoke inside but quickly realized what I had done and ran outside...she told me to either give her $100 or never come back...with a very devilish smile. Would not recommend!!
I enjoyed my stay here at the Pine Lodge for 2wks. I stayed in one of the lil houses. It has everything but a stove in it. It was very clean, it was very quiet out here. They always asked of it needed any done. I would recommend this place to anyone. Ur right by the hwy, ur 15 to 20 mins from downtown.
30 years worth of other people's cigarette smoke bled through the paint in the place after I walked outside for a couple of hours and accidentally left a steamy shower going. Owner swears to this day that I must have been chain smoking in there after I lived there for 5 years and every time he drove by, I was outside smoking. Even in the worst part of winter, I was in my truck to smoke. D**k
Rented a cabin that is super cozy and I loved it... But cabin 18 has a demon in the closet of the left bedroom. I was sleeping and it saw into my dream and screamed at me, when I saw it it was black and had big eyes staring right at me, and then it was on top of me and I couldn't breathe and I woke up at 3am screaming and suffocated. It was freezing in that room and was the most terrifying thing that's ever happened to me.
The Haisma Family has been the ultimate host of all hosts. Their hospitality and attention to detail is Super awesome!!! My husband and I have been staying here since mid- August. The cabins are sooooo quaint that it feels like a home away from home!! Thanks to Judy we've had an awesome experience here at Pine Lodge Motel!! The staff is great!! Judy and her late husband Ron were the primary staff, but since Ron's recent passing, Judy's children esp. Lonnie have stepped up and been really helping hwr out. I have to mention the little furry friends that adorn the office named Maggie and Dusty (2 beautiful shelties). Lots of amenities here. Cable tv, kitchenette, daily maid service unless you're a weekly renter and then it's weekly service. There's a small restaurant right next door called the Wagon Wheel and food is good...open until 3 p.m.
Cheap mis-matched patterns & furniture. Tv has bubble paint with "Pine Lodge Motel" so it doesn't get stolen - and it couldn't have been any bigger then 19" with 3 channels. Small mini fridge. No peep hole on door? Huge dislike on that. But quiet and cozy.
We stayed one night at this hotel. The room was nice and we had no real problems with our stay. The only complaint I have is that it took a long time for the water to get hot. Not just a few minutes, more like 7 minutes. It was very hot when it did w

Nudged between a bar and salon on a quiet NorthEast street in Grand Rapids, Post Off brings a sort of welcoming and familiarity to a rather mundane part of town. The dark and cozy interior paired with the glowing personalities of all the bartenders w
To say I love it here would be an understatement. It's always the highlight of my week. My core strength has improved immensely since coming here, which I didn't even think was possible after having a major surgery. On top of all that, the people her
