We came with a tour bus and we had a guided tour of the highlights of the museum then allowed to walk around and see, read what ever we wanted. I really enjoyed this as you could ask questions and take your time looking around. A lot of history and interesting facts. They also had a yard of old farm equipment, black smith shop, settlers home and an old chicken coop that resembles many that I still see today.

I was in awe of this small museum. It was packed with amazing information about the county. The ladies that work there are Phenomenal!! If you are in Florence or in the area I highly recommend this place.

Quaint museum with rich history about Florence, its founding families, and the industries that have supported its growth. Amazing historical pieces and a newly updated outdoor exhibit! Definitely worth a stop.

Very well put together small town museum, definitely worth the trip. There is a seven dollar entry fee for adults however children are free. Great place to take the family if you are interested in the history of the area. The staff was very friendly and even suggested a scavenger hunt for the kids. This is a must see if you are in the area!

The volunteer was very welcoming and informative. She spoke directly to my daughter, showing her things that would fascinate her. 100% will go again!

We took our children here and had a great time. We were greeted by an amazingly nice woman that was very sweet to us and our small children. There was a craft for the children and a plethora of well preserved wide range of historical items (two rooms full of artifacts such as old clothing, furniture, dishware, Hohokam treasures, guns, radios, prison records, medical equipment, you name it). There was even a whole other area outside that we barely got into looking at. We spent about an hour there but could have stayed much longer if able. Looking forward to coming there again! So much to learn.
