Positive: The room was clean. The location was perfect for my quick trip to Tanglewood. Negative: 1) The outside of the motel is in rough shape.2) It was weird checking in through a phone. I never saw anyone who worked there.3) No one explained that I just leave my key card in the room when I was ready to check out. No one answered the phone.
This was a rest stop on my way to Northern Maine. Dead tired at 9:00 PM and had to stop for the night. The Quality Inn across the street was full so we ended up here. I walked into the office only to see a note to call the number on the phone. I called and could get a room at $188.00 for the night (I later found out it was $88.00 on line). I was too tired to go on so I agreed. Scanned my CC on the machine. The voice on the phone (foreign) then told me to grab a key card and swipe it. I was given a room number and went to get in. The card didn't work for about 5 minutes. Finally got in only to be hit by the odor of stale smoke. The sign on the front said no smoking room but it must have been at some time. The stand between the beds had a big chip out of it. The curtain was held up with a plastic grocery bag. The TV didn't work at all. We locked the door and put a chair in front of it. There was no chain lock but it did have a dead bolt. We settled down for the night. It started to rain outside and I could hear the dripping of water somewhere in the room. We got up the next morning grabbed a shower with the smallest soap I ever saw and headed out. The office was locked so I could not get a receipt. I called the number and had them send one via email. I do not recommend staying here. I noticed the only other people staying here were probably residents.
The room was dark and musty smelling. The bathroom was NOT Fuzzy. The beds caved in when we lied on them. There was no reception. Everything was done virtually, even once you got there. Definitely NOT warm and fuzzy.
1) The location is perfect for a quick trip to Tanglewood. 2) The room was clean. 3) The exterior of the place is in bad shape. 4) There is no one in the tiny office. You check in by phone. When you check out, you just leave. No one told me that, and when I called the number on the locked office door, no one answered -- for two hours. 5) At about $200 for the night, it was cheaper than most places on a Tanglewood weekend. 6) I would stay there again because of the location and clean room.
The room was fine and clean but there is no pool! The lady said it’s been closed for years but that was the reason we chose this place for the pool. We was compensated after sharing the pool was the entire reason for our stay. Place is nice service good but they should not be advertising that they have a working pool because the pool is damaged and not open.
Positive: I never even stayed at this place! They wouldn?t let me in then guaranteed a Refund but did not give it to me! I called the local police who are witnesses to this incident Please help get my $285 Refund back to my credit card asap.? thank you Negative: They are a corrupt business and should be exposed!
Great stay at the hotel! The room was clean and comfy, staff was friendly, and best location in Berkshire near hwy. Would definitely recommend and come back !!!
It was interesting. At check-in, We spoke to a very nice person on the phone and did our check in with someone remotely. Good idea! The towels were high-quality. However, there was no soap in the bathroom. Luckily, we bring our own soap usually. The ice machine does not work and probably hasn’t worked for a while. In room, 105 there is a sticky spot on the carpet near the bottom of the beds. Once you hit that with bare feet, you need to wash your feet and then put on your shoes. Other than the carpet, the place was fairly clean. The television and air conditioning worked fine. One bed was pretty soft, and the other bed was nice and firm. Great price.
We had an amazing stay at the Lakehouse Inn. This was our first time here and we were celebrating our engagement- it was beyond anything we could've imagined. Sam, Kathleen, and Junie were incredibly welcoming and hospitable. The complimentary spiked

We had a great time here, and really appreciated the way the hotel is run. It's a little rustic - the decor would benefit from a refresh. But the owners have invested in facilities which actually make your stay more comfortable. As well as the room's
Spent a few days in the Berkshires and stayed at the best bed and breakfast we have ever stayed at. We can honestly say we have found a new home away from home. The Devonfield Inn is an absolute gem. Every room is meticulously decorated, clean, and

Stopped at this Gem on the way to a ski location. I saw the Fried Chicken Sandwich with the slaw and hot sauce on the menu. It caught my eye as I am from the south. It was absolutely amazing. We had the Bloody Mary and Pomegranate drinks which were g
Food and service was absolutely fantastic! The food was cooked perfectly. We brought our service dog in with us and the owner brought water for us to give him while we ate and a snack for after we left. Easily one of the best restaurant experiences w
This place made my week. Fantastic pizza. I seriously could have not asked for a more perfect done pizza. Xtra cheese, well done, best way to get a pizza. The crust was great nice crunch and a little chewy. The cheese and sauce had a wedding in the o
