Think it's a quiet little park I love to bring my grandkids and dog too. We hike around the lake, go to the spray park and just have a good time. You can fish here too with a license and there is a skate area. They have a couple shelters and a rec hall as well.
It was crowded. Pierson Park is a popular favorite in this part of town. There are bathrooms depending on which picnic area you choose. The one we were at had the bathrooms closed. Hopefully, for upgrades for the new season. The playground options also depend on the picnic area you choose. The new firehouse required a change in the roads, and the change requires a sharp turn, which I find is a bit dangerous regardless of the speed you are driving. The trash cans at the picnic area we were at were full and smelled like a dead animal was in there. It's not pleasant to walk by. I wish the trash cans were not placed where you had to walk by them, but I get it. They need to be convenient, or others won't use them.
Experiencing the Fire works sponsored by Turner Rec Dept and Wyandotte County. Beautiful night. Nice park to play and relax. Saw lots of fish jumping tonight. Hear it’s a good place for fishing.
To see the fireworks for the independence day celebration, you can choose from many options for parking that each give a great view, and surround yourself with great people!
I met a friend and his daughter there. She is new to rollerblading, and this park seemed to have enough variety for beginners as well as more experienced skaters. The other skaters were friendly and helpful.
Peaceful park. A few sets of people fishing for small fish with worms and bobbers.
Holding a Wyandotte fishing license I figured I ought to put it to use and visit this park. Must say the aerial photos are far better than the real thing. Nice county park with lots of amenities. It's free except for the fishing. And I'm not convinced that shouldn't be also. The good aspect is a county license keeps the numbers down. Water is badly stained, shallow and heavy with near shore vegetation. While I caught fish, it's not a place I'll return to for the fishing. For other activities it looks to be a good park.
It is a pretty nice little park that has a bit something to do and even has a lake to fish at.
I love Full Throttle Fitness. The owners Gina and Glen are amazing. They truly care about their clients. Their encouragement and workouts has helped me lose over 70lbs so far and I've gotten a lot stronger as well. Even the other people who go to the
Kathy who runs this place is an amazing person. She was very kind and compassionate and made you really feel at home. My wife was in for a surgery and this was such a great place to stay near the hospital. Thank you so much Kathy
We bought some gyoza (both steamed and fried were very delicious) and crabrangoon wontons (too much cream cheese) various sushi rolls (Alaska, Royalty, Spicy Tuna) Salmon & spicy tuna nigiri (not pictured) were all melt in your mouth amazing and pres
This is one of my favorite little coffee shops in Kansas City! The pottery adds a colorful atmosphere mixed with a bo-ho rustic. My husband and I go here often on Sundays after mass to relax, chat, play games, and eat delicious tamales! We like their
Really cool bar. Has a great vibe. Local neighborhood bar that has about 8 pinball machines. They even have a pinball league on Wednesday nights. It's in a pretty decent area. Not sketchy. Kinda out of the way so not super crowded. They make an excel
one of the best BBQ options in KC! the lunch line was not too long, and we had an awesome meal! got the sampler platter, added ribs + burnt ends, and received great service & a good price as well! ate more than enough & left with a little bit to go
Really good food at really good prices. Thqt's not the best thing about this place though. The atmosphere is perfect. It is like walking into the bar from Cheers. The bartender naturally built a raport with me, and fellow patrons. I havent had such a
The food is authentic and amazing. Prepared with pride homemade food! I have had the neck bones and the pork chops. Can't wait to have the smothered steak and baked chicken. Sides have all been really good. Black eyed peas, cabbage, yams, green bean
We moved our daughter over to Dynasty 3 years ago and haven't looked at another club since. As a parent I am thrilled that coaches are willing to give a girl encouragement, correction on a skill, there is plenty of good training opportunities and th
