I grew up at Pier Park- mostly the skate park side of things, during some of the hardest times in my cringy teenage life; there were always lots of local kids who came here regularly as i did, we all made lots of memories while experiencing lifes ups and downs together and just being there for each other no matter where we came from or what we were going thru.
I personally made lots of friends here throughout the years. I now bring my own son here from time to time when I am able to, nothing about pier park has changed. It's great, like time hasn't touched it a bit! Different faces of course, but still the same energy, and u can't get this energy from one visit here u just gotta hangout from time to time until other ppl come thru and do thier own things they enjoy also, and then that's when the magic of pier park comes to life! I'm glad I get to experience this park in all its beauty and wonderment with my own son and watch him grow up here as I did. We love the kiddie pool and the playground and the skate park, wildlife etc..and as a parent now I love the fact that the gipd frequently come thru to check on everything going on and to help keep our park and community a safe place to visit and spend time hanging out.
I encourage parents to come out n play/hangout along side their kids at the skate park or the playgrounds, etc.
You can make a difference in your child's life by being there and showing your kids how to cleanly, safely and responsibly have fun.

Very dirty trail, broken glass and other hazards. Loud music from neighboring houses and angry dogs made this an unenjoyable Park and walking trail
I was looking for a place to take a light hike. The walking path was sunny so I went elsewhere, but it's a great family park. Cool, fat squirrel I made friends with lol
Beautiful place with a nice skate park and a pond that the birds love. Great place to watch a sunrise and walk about. The trash upkeep could be better. Don't litter 😞

Nice park, wading pool, and lots of geese by the pond. Only issues are people leaving their trash all over / not picking up after themselves and somewhat high traffic.
Kinda a nice park if the skate/drug park was gone! Hope you fix the restrooms and open them this year! No fun having lunch and no where to use the restroom
Very nice place. We took our three kids here and we played at the playground and they had empty grass area were we threw a football around. It has a skate park along with a pond you can walk around. -one flaw it had a dead goose on the shore line area.
Love it! The new splash pad perfect for the little ones to have some fun and parents to distress, great job on this new addition to the park itâs nice and clean! Letâs keep it that way, so we can all have fun in the community. Will be coming back
Maxed Out has a great healthy atmosphere with everything I need and more. I travel a lot and try out different gyms all the time. Maxed out will ve my go-to when passing through Grand Island moving forward.

Good, smaller sized coffee shop. They have a line of booths, with lots of plugs to charge your electronics. There's a corner with some coustioned chairs, but no plugs there. My latte was very good. The woman who took my order was nice.

Stopped for lunch. Had the chimichanga. It was huge! And delicious. Staff was very pleasant and helpful. Very clean place. Restroom was cleanest I've seen in a long time! I would definitely stop here again when back in town.
