Right now Iam hoping I don't end up getting sick from this place. We checked out their menu before arriving since we were coming in at 9pm and they closed at 10. We asked for crawfish queso and gator kickers as soon as we sat down. Keke out waitress was awesome threw our entire experience. The appetizer came out promptly and we liked the gator kickers, they were fried perfectly had good flavor and they have the good ranch here 😉. The queso was Luke warm and the bowl was super hot so definitely microwaved, it was lacking flavor and wasn't anything special. The chips were dry gritty no salt they definitely didn't help the quesos lack of flavor. I was excited to try their cajun plate, fried catfish on top a crawfish corn bread smothered in crawfish etouffee with collard greens and corn. That was until it arrived. Just looking at it the cat fish was very lightly battered and very lightly fried , not crisp at all. The etouffee was very watery and the extremely thin peice of corn bread was nearly non existent. The greens were dry and they sent dirty rice instead of corn (I don't eat rice) but hubby said the dirty rice was decent. He also said the greens were canned glory greens. The greens were to vinegary for my taste, it over powered all other flavors. That's not the worst part though. The crawfish were shriveled, dry looking and gray/green in appearance. I should have known better but I didn't look at it that closely at first. So I cut into it and took a bite, it had a strong fishy taste and a spoiled flavor was evident over any seasoning. I checked it out better, showed it to my husband and took my plate to Keke who immediately took it to the back and removed the order from our ticket. Keke then helped me choose a different dinner and per her suggestion, plus it was nearing close I wanted it to be easy for the kitchen, I ordered a bacon cheese burger and onion rings. My husband had gotten the fried fish, shrimp and oyster basket. His fish was also very lightly fried and laking that crisp fried fish texture. The shrimp had nearly no breading. You can see all of this in the pictures. However the fried basket all had good flavor and their tarter sauce and coleslaw were really good. The ketchup on our table was very dirty so we got one off another table but it tasted terrible. So no ketchup for the fries. My burger came and it was really good, fresh vegetables, cheese was nicely melted, plenty of bacon and the beef was a good quality, had good natural flavor and was cooked perfectly. Bun was toasted nicely as well. The onion rings did not look like the crisp flaky onions rings others had posted but just the regular frozen store bought kind. However they were not terrible kinda greasy but not unedible. No manager ever came to check on us , even after returning unedible rotten food. All and all it was quite disappointing and Iam hoping the 1 bite and tiny taste of the rotten crawfish doesn't make me sick. 🤞However my stomach is already feeling a bit ucky. 🤢 I first thought it was because it was late and they were rushing , but that's not an excuse to possibly poison customers.

This place has overpriced everything . No live music on the weekends just a jukebox . Food is bland . Locals were nice when I had a meal here a week or so ago. Not sure who owns this business or the lot across the street but if you want to run people off for trespassing I suggest posting the appropriate signs . I have a fishing license for the state of Texas and should have told you to kiss off . Call a game warden next time . I've kept my area clean , picked up two bags of trash from your lot and supported your business. What a waste of time . Don't eat here . Save your money food is overpriced , and drinks are too . Owners are snobs

I was craving oysters after a day at the beach. A couple of locals mentioned this place. I asked for a dozen....they had none. I should have left but, was too tired. I chose 1/2 lb of boiled peel & eat shrimp and another recommended dish of crawfish cornbread. I was offered mild, medium or spicy. I chose mild, good flavor and small amount of heat. Large shrimp and not overcooked. Issue was how much juice on the shrimp in my to go container...it spilled and was a total mess in the bag. It was also not a full small Styrofoam container. The cornbread was 3 three inch round pieces of a weird concoction. It was decent flavor but, the greasiness made it unpalatable. Ate 1 and threw the rest out. No one else in there eating on a Monday eve. A few locals having drinks. Server was great. On the marsh with great sunset view. Open doors on 3 sides, nice and breezy.

We found Pier 30 on our way to San Luis Pass on our annual fishing trip. The shrimp was amazing! Etoufee was yummy, gumbo was good, and shrimp tacos were bomb! Definitely get the crawfish queso! Oysters were good but, probably wouldn't order a second time. View is awesome, drinks were good and staff was awesome! A definite stop while in the area.

We ate at Pier 30 for lunch on a Friday. We had the best boudan balls ever!! Filled with pulled pork boudan and cheese they were delicious!! My husband had the mushroom swiss burger and I had the regular cheese burger. The buns were fresh and toasted. The meat was delicious and cooked to perfection! The fries were served hot and were great as well. This is a hidden gem!! KJO was our waitress and she was so sweet and attentive!! We highly recommend this place for a delicious lunch!!

Fun lil place to go get fresh oysters and shrimp tacos. Our Server was great! Bar was fixed up like a tiki hut with a good selection. . . and they also offer some speciality coffee drinks using their own private label coffee that you can buy bags of.

It’s a little early in the season still for crawfish, so I don’t feel like it’s fair to critique but they did seem over cooked. However the boudain balls were outstanding!!! Probably the best I’ve had, they are huge, we were really glad we ordered 12. The atmosphere was nice, and our waitress was great but it seemed like she was the only one who was really working. Overall we were very happy with our first lunch stop of spring break.

Went fishing, caught shark and catfish, then got it cooked up fresh at Pier 30. The service was very nice and friendly. They took some of our catch back and prepared it with perfection. The platters included fries, slaw, and sauces making the grilled and the blackened shark the best I've had. I highly recommend Pier 30 to any angler looking to enjoy their catch.
