We came all the way from San Antonio to visit this hidden gem and I mean when I say, this pie is absolutely life changing! The absolute BEST crust I’ve had in my 35 years of life! Between the sweetness being just right & the owner was the friendliest guy& so warm & welcoming! Will def be back again no matter how far the trip is 😊

Pie by the slice or whole pie. My favorite was the strawberry rhubarb. Get there early for more choices. They sell out fast.
My friend and I purchased pies on the weekend as first time customers. The blueberry, pecan and buttermilk pies were very tasty and perfectly baked. We will return! The shop is quaint and fun to visit in the town square in Glen Rose! Give it a try!
My friend and I came on a rainy Tuesday to try the pies. We were not disappointed. I had the strawberry rhubarb pie, à la mode, and my friend had the peach pie. Both were delicious. We chatted with the owner and he was a great conversationalist. We will be back!
Owner was super friendly and took really good care of us. Gave us even one free pie and quality of pie was so amazing. Would highly recommend this to everyone ❤️
I love supporting a local shop when I can so I was excited to see one when planning my trip to Glen Rose. I got 2 pies, Buttermilk and Coconut Cream. The buttermilk was more like egg custard not the expected consistency buttermilk should be. The coconut cream filling was pretty average. The cream topping was minimal, not what you would expect from a typical homemade cream pie. I can't quite figure out what is going on with the crust. It is thin and crisp, it it doesn't taste buttery and is not flaky at all.
Went in with huge excitement and got three different slices - pecan, key lime and coconut- far too sweet. Not sure what changed as wgen we visited last time it was out of world pie and this summer it seemed even hard to finish. May be it’s just us.
Love it! We stayed at the lounge so we could do the morning safari tour. The suite was not as luxury as expected for the price but beautiful views specially in the morning & evening. Friendly staff, & convenient parking. Definitely coming back!
Absolutely amazing! On top of the beautiful atmosphere, perfect seating options for any visitor, and wonderful customer service, the soup + salad bar and coffees are the best Iâve ever had. I hope they expand one day. Iâd love to have a Grounded

Passing through, we stopped here for lunch. The food was really tasty. I got the Italian sub, and chips, but they offer other sides (my wife got the tots which were very crispy!)

Wonderful! The animals are very well cared for and the tours are a must! You only short change yourself by driving through yourself! the guide was incredibly knowledgeable and loved her job! The work done here for the animals cannot be overstated as
