We stayed in the Soda Pop room for two nights over Labor Day weekend. Everything about the experience was great. It’s basically a studio apartment. They provide some dishes, pots and pans, a small appliances. There is a cooktop and mini fridge as well. The bed was incredibly comfortable and the room was beautifully decorated. It’s a short walk to the riverfront as well. We would stay here again when visiting the Cincinnati area!

Multi themed rooms, modern bathrooms with full kitchens. Split air systems are a little noisy even on low, and with hard wood floors you hear all footsteps by other occupants. You have a code for the main door and another for your room. So no interaction with staff. The TV you must setup your own apps or you don't have any. The parking is in the alley and around some construction, with no eateries in walking distance except one pizza place. Didn't care for the lack of shopping in the area either.

We were so glad to find this hidden gem in Covington! We stayed in the Wenzel Luxe Aristocrat suite, which was so spacious for our family of 3. Two bedrooms, two complete baths, and a kitchenette complete with fridge, microwave, and stove top. It also includes one parking space per suite. The antique furnishings definitely earn the suite the "Aristocrat" label. For such a affordable stay, The Pickle Factory is beyond top-notch. The only thing missing is a jar of pickles waiting on the kitchen counter!

I normally love this hotel and have stayed in 3 separate rooms. But the past two times the thinness of the walls was very apparent. I heard my neighbors having s** and even just having a normal conversation and could hear them in the bathroom same time as me. Very disturbing and also a bunch of things are falling apart in the rooms

A fantastic little private apartment. We stayed in the Odd Fellows and can't recommend it enough. It has charm and personality a hundred times more than any hotel, and it was spacious and had tons of amenities. It also was in a great location; we loved exploring Covington, crossing the bridge, and looking in all the shops. If we come to Covington again we will definitely stay here!

SUMMARY: Fun alternative to hotels, in a great location, but falls short on details that would make it a no-brainer. Reference: Booked "soda pop" room for a weekday overnight. No other bookings in the building that evening. PROS: Great location near lots of restaurants and highway access. Reasonably priced. Fun room designs with amenities and features that make you feel at home - it makes you excited about your stay! Assigned parking spot right by the door. Both main and room doors have keypad locks, and since your personal entry codes come with your confirmation, you can arrive and gain immediate access without the hassle of checking in at a front desk. Confirmation email and guide binder had very clear directions, that I knew exactly what to do. CONS: Though everything looked exceptional on first glance, certain overlooked details really detract from the experience -- during my stay specifically, there was no tissues, toilet paper was a rough 1-ply, some dishes weren't fully clean, towel rack was falling out of the wall, floor had a dusty film on it (like it had been swept but not mopped), chandeliers hadn't been dusted. The bed and pillows were very hard and left us with sore muscles. There was no easy way to contact anyone for on-site assistance (that we saw). This lack of an on-site person to greet you can also make arrival at night somewhat sketchy-feeling, especially if you're alone. Overall, satisfied enough with my experience and definitely worth mentioning for those visiting. The unique environment bring energy and joy to the stay. However, set your expectations accordingly and don't expect 5-star service.

Love the location, room was very nice. Separate sitting area from the bedroom, nice bathroom, kitchenette looked nice. I am just not sure I can give any higher of a rating because of the water. Showed was cold. I was up before 7, so I would not expect any hot water issues. Neither my wife or I could Stay in long enough to was our hair.

The hotel is darling but VERY NOISY! You can hear everything your neighbors are doing. Currently there is a wedding below us and I think if I joined in on singing "Sweet Caroline" they would be able to hear me too. I love historic rehabs but sound insulation would go a long way to making this location fabulous. Hoping the reception is over by midnight so I can finally fall asleep after driving all day. 🤞
