I had a colonoscopy at the endoscopy center. Everything from making the appointment to going home was easy and everyone was friendly. Every person on the phone was helpful and made sure I understood what was happening and when to be where. The receptionists (3 different desks) were all friendly and gave me easy directions. The nurses were professional, yet friendly. They made everything clear and answered all my questions. After the procedure, everyone was helpful and gave me great instructions on aftercare. I highly recommend the endoscopy department.

Saturday night, I rushed my 8 month old here in tears. I’m a first time mom, and all the nurses were super compassionate and understanding. They told me they would get my baby feeling much better, and they did. I believe one of the nurses names was Jill (but i can’t remember for sure), she was by far mine, and my baby’s favorite. She knew exactly how to talk to, and interact with him. She had him smiling even though he was feeling his worst. Hes doing much better now, and I can’t thank the nurses and staff enough.

Went to the hospital (ER) with severe chest pains. Was told ‘this is common in early pregnancy’ and to ‘get used to it’. Took forever to even get an IV or anything even though it was close to empty. They also gave and prescribed me medicine that has a chance for increased heart and facial defects knowing I was pregnant and without informing me. My OBGYN strongly suggested to not fill the prescription. They made me feel like I was ‘whiney’ and a burden. I absolutely will be giving birth elsewhere even though this is the closest hospital.

My healthy, fit and weight watcher teacher grandmother went in. Then the hospital scared an old woman in the middle of the night that she needed to be pumped full of the newest mystery drugs in the name of covid. She dies in middle of night. The staff than belittle my grandfather that "thats what you get" for not getting a covid vaccine. I get the hear this story every time I see my defeated grandfather. Rude hospital filled with condescending staff. The only bright side is at least President biden promised a "winter of severe illness and death". warms my heart these people get paid with the same pharma money, including the doctors directly. Not one person in my family believes my grandmother died naturally.

I called the scheduling department to schedule a scan. The person who answered the call was clearly not enjoying her job. She started out very deadpan with zero (I mean ZERO personality) which is fine. But then she became surly and then downright rude. Apparently, I was not providing my information fast enough or to the direct letter of how she can enter it. I explained the doctor's office faxed the Rx 3 times so they should have it already on file. Her tone was very aggressive and disagreeable. I told her she was being very rude and with that she hung up on me. Wow, someone is in the wrong job. I called back and requested a supervisor and was transferred to the sups voice mail. I explained the situation and that she does not have to call me back herself but I need someone to call me as I still need the service scheduled. Now over 24 hrs later and of course no one has called back. Terrible service.

Was never offered anything like a cuddle cot or bereavement specialist when I delivered my daughter stillborn at 35 weeks. Only person who helped or even seemed to care was the nurse. I switched OBGYN providers and haven’t gone to this hospital since. The ER is a mess too. Do better.

My son needed an EKG and bloodwork - he is 13 and has severe autism. Mr.Mike was so kind and patient during the EKG test on 8/19 that we returned today to attempt the bloodwork. Two lovely angels, Miss Kathleen and Miss Stephanie, helped us through this challenge. They were loving and calm and never complained that we needed a great deal of extra time. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts Mike, Kathleen, and Stephanie . . . you hold a special place in our hearts.

Our experience at Phoenixville Hospital was so awful they don’t even deserve half of a star!! The way the staff treat the patients and their families is completely disgusting and the way they speak to them is even more disturbing!! When someone goes to the ER it is for help! Not to be victimized, manipulated, lied to, over medicated, & restrained!! It’s definitely not to leave with more problems than you went in ! They also have a strict rule on aggression but they are the aggressors!! They consider watching monitors and doing hall walks as checking on their patients!! Not once do they go in the room to physically check on someone, no blood pressures were taken, my son went in because he was having a seizure we are not from that town and he was working there, he had numerous seizures before getting to the hospital, they over medicate him which makes him combative so they restrain him and stick him in a room alone, won’t even let his boss from work in with him because no family was present!! When I arrive after a 4 hour drive! They are out right rude to us my son is laying in a bed won’t wake up they had him so heavily sadated! We want to talk to someone we want to know what’s going on and we briefly get this “he was very intoxicated and combative when he came in we had to restrain him for own safety and his” yet he’s laying on the bed motionless and not restrained, if it was as bad as they say why was he not still being restrained in case he would wake up that way and why weren’t the cops called like their posters say? See they didn’t have time to clean up the room before we got there so she was trying to cover their tracks but we seen what happened in that room it was clear! First of all they didn’t tell me about the number of seizures he had matter of fact they weren’t going to bring up the seizures at all but i was already aware so brought that up to the nurse her response “we didn’t see any here” I was really concerned with their lack of concern and compassion!!! Because they never asked if he had a history of seizures,, which he does and his are not medically treated! They assumed the alcohol caused the seizure, When I try to explain that to them they got defensive and instantly blame me because I wasn’t there to tell them and he wasn’t able to!! His blood alcohol wants high enough to cause seizures plus the vile of his blood was still laying on the computer cart, by the keyboard so another lie CLEARLY!! They didn’t want to answer questions I had they didn’t want to tell me anything except BS! Guess that’s why they wouldn’t let anyone in his room with him! They literally tortured him he had 4 needle marks on his thighs 2 on each arm and had an IV port but it wasn’t connected to anything! He laid in that room for 13 hours unable to wake up and look at me unable to move his moth to try to form words! To have to watch your child go through is unexplainable and it should NEVER EVER happen to anyone! I’ve never been so scared and felt so helpless! I was literally fighting for my sons life and safety! An investigation on that whole place and staff needs to be done!! Something has to be done about it people need reprimanded! They are playing carelessly with peoples lives, its abuse no matter how you look at it and it’s unethical and so is letting them get away with it! I’ve seen so many bad reviews and experiences from Phoenixville Hospital! Total embarrassment!! Huge disappointment!! SICKENING!!
