It was a good first experience staying at a hostel. But for the convenience and privacy that I usually like to have when traveling, maybe not my cup of tea. It was pretty clean and nice but I didn't enjoy having to share a shower since it was a little inconvenient. The location is great though and if you're into hostels then this would be a good place to stay.
This place is great! I booked the sky room and it's very spacious, comes with a fridge, microwave, kettle etc. The TV also has a Chromecast if you want to laze about during the day and binge watch from your favorite app. The location is excellent, a short walk to supermarkets, the art museum, the library and the excellent coffee shops and restaurants in hipster Roosevelt street. Breakfast is included and it's very well kept, eat too meet others if you wish. It's more like a homestay. Highly recommended, I'm glad we stayed here.
Loved my stays here in the salado room! Close proximity to restaurants and shops. Tucked away in a quiet area. Great communication from the host. The shared shower is just a regular house shower, make sure you have your own soap/shampoo. Can't wait to return for another stay!
Very nice basic clean and comfortable accommodations in a very friendly environment at a reasonable price. The location is very close to midtown and downtown in an up and coming neighborhood. We especially appreciated that eggs, toast, coffee and tea were all available for guest preparation in the common kitchen. The staff was always available to help and answer questions. 5 Stars for the value.
We stayed at the hostel for a week in September. After a bit of a delay getting to the hostel due to public transport issues, we had a problem getting into the room. Instructions had been sent by email, but with no data access, due to not having a US sim, we did not have the passcode. However, we eventually got the manager to answer the door and were given the code. We were also given an info sheet on the local shops and restaurants as well as suggested sights.|We stayed in the Zuni room which had a double bed and two bunk beds. There was very little hanging space, no drawers but a few hooks at the end of the bunk beds. A fridge freezer had been moved into the room (at our request) and there were plenty of power sockets. There was also a plug in night light. As well as air-con there were 3 fans, which came in very useful as the daytime temperature never dropped below 100 degrees F. |The Bathroom had been recently renovated. As well as the electric light, there was a high window in the ceiling which let in natural light. The shower had good pressure, but the hot water took time to come through. The vanity basin did not have a plug. The hostel provided two bath towels, a hand towel, hand soap, paper towels and a night light.|Breakfast was provided in the common room with the usual assortments of cereals, bread, spreads, tea and coffee. Each room had an allocated space for dry goods as well as an area in the fridge.|The kitchen had a stove, triple sink, coffee maker, kettle and a toaster. Drawers and cupboards were labelled with the contents therein. There were plenty of pots, pans, cutlery and crockery to cook your own meals.|The Hostel also provided laundry facilities. A cold wash took about 30 mins and cost $1.50 in quarters.|The Phoenix is now the only hostel in the city. It has free on street parking and is close to the Roosevelt Row murals. We did not have a car for most of the time and found the buses to be a bit erratic. Whilst we liked the hostel, we will not be returning to Phoenix.
Great hostel! Michael was always there to help and advise us. Helpful, open minded staff. Good, clean rooms. Large, clean kitchen with everything you need. Great and pleasant atmosphere! would definitely come back!
I have never stayed at a hostel before. My room at this place was quiet, clean, and a great location in Phoenix downtown. Minutes from the airport and close to the convention center. I loved the property for its charm and character. The staff were outstanding.
*Do not stay here*. My recent stay at the Phoenix hostel was anything but good. To start off, the rooms are tiny and have no room to securely store large luggage. In addition to this, the room was extremely hot making it unpleasant to be in let alone sleep in, and when bought up to the front desk, this information was poorly received (found out we were talked about among other staff). The facilities were not clean, the water in the showers were either freezing cold or boiling hot. Overall this place is dirty and outdated and I definitely would not stay here if I had my time over again.
This gym is honestly really supportive, the environment is great and friendly. Every time I come in I feel motivated, I have never felt intimidated. I have never felt out of place. Peanut(the trainer) is very knowledgeable, helpful and most of all pa

This place is great! The food was outstanding and the waitress who is the chef's wife, was absolutely amazing! She is a sweet lady and gave us great suggestions. We waited like 5-10mins to be seated and food came quickly. I wish I can try everything
Penny is an excellent real estate professional. We were in a complicated situation as we had to sell 2 homes at the same time and find a new one rather quickly and she handled it with ease! Penny is very knowledgeable about the market and about the v
