Always delicious food that never disappoints! The hummus trio is delicious. The service lacks a little bit and the waitress seemed annoyed when I asked questions but the food is always incredible! Atmosphere is great too.

This could possibly be one of the best restaurants in Cincinnati. Server at the front desk was excellent, food was out of this world, and our waitress Gary was great. We tried their Regular Sampler and Ouzi lamb and both were phenomenal. P.S. Someone give Gary a raise 💵

Our latest stop at Phoenician Taverna was nothing short of amazing with our waiter Gary. He recommended food for us to try throughout the menu and a bottle to pair. Gary was very kind, funny and taught us some about Lebanese culture. It was busy on Saturday night, but Gary made us feel like we were the only ones there! My boyfriend and his family have been coming to the Phoenician for over 10 years - the quality and consistency is superb. They have been so quick with the food recently! If you want to be in and out, you can. But if you want to take your time and enjoy the ambiance, it's possible too. When you make your reservation, ask for Gary and tell him you saw the review on Google! What is often regarded as one of the best restaurants in the Cincinnati area, and even one of the best Mediterranean places in the Midwest, I'd had their food in various events around the city. I met a friend here for my birthday to hopefully have an amazing meal... It was okay. the service was lackluster (forgetting us at the start). My lamb pieces were great, the veggies had food flavor, the rice bland, the pita doughy and under cooked. My friend's fries were amazing, her hummus flavorful and sufficient to be a meal. Good food, not amazing. Good enough but not better than many of the other places that are much closer to the city.

This place is great with excellent ambience. Food was delicious, specially hot pita breads. Staff were nice and explained the items clearly.

Don't let the stripmall location fool you, this is a very nice place. Lots of gluten free options as well. Nice ambiance with lower lighting and well dressed wait staff. Staff was allergy knowledgeable. The menu comes with good explanations so you don't feel weird if you're not used to ordering Lebanese food. Highly recommend the baba gannoush, the appetizer sampler, and anything with lamb.

I went here for dinner with my friends on friday night. We reached there around 6.30 pm. We did not have to wait and got the place soon since we went there early. Very nice ambiance and most importantly food is very tasty. We had vegetarian appetizer platter, falafel, taverna falafel and Umali dessert. Appetizer platter and Umali were my most favorite dishes.

This was the BEST Mediterranean food I've ever had. The bartender was gracious and very knowledgeable. The owner was sweet and kind and very helpful. I see why they were completely booked. Even sitting at the bar felt like we were right at the table. Simply AMAZING!!!
