I was on the hunt for yet another Vietnamese restaurant. This place is a hole in the wall and smaller cafe. It is very authentic. We went for supper and found 2 large groups of Vietnamese people dining.
We ordered the appetizer Bánh bột chiên or egg with fried rice cakes accompanied with my favorite pickled veggies. It's my 2nd time having this dish. It's like a yummy omlette, and it's hard to believe that the rice cakes aren't meat. The only thing to improve on this dish was to cook it a bit longer or use a lid. It was a bit raw and runny of egg whites on the top. It made me a bit queasy.
Then we shared the grilled pork banh mi. It was delicious! We also shared the Nui Xào Bò Lúc Lắc or pasta with beef. It was pretty good. I was expecting it to be more like chow fun or pad see ew. The flavor was on point, I just don't care for the pasta. I'm glad to venture and try new things. I also wanted pho, but I know I can't eat that much. I ordered a cup of the broth, and that was delectable.
The manager or owner was very friendly and chatted us up. He was telling us about the hot pot deal. Not many places offer that where I live, but that's a neat option. The service was excellent. I was checking out their fridge, and he gave us complimentary homemade coconut jello. What a nice gesture! Thanks for the tasty treat! Check them out and support small businesses.
Pho Real has become my regular spot for Vietnamese cuisine, especially their Hu Tieu Nam Vang and Banh canh ca (Crab udon soup). The recent restaurant redecoration has made it even better, with a spacious layout that's easy to navigate. They've expanded their menu with exciting additions like hotpot and garlic butter snails. The prices are reasonable, and the food is excellent, making it a great choice for family gatherings. The staff is friendly and laid-back, yet quick. Just a heads up, they charge an additional 3% for credit card payments, so bring your debit card if you have one.
Best food in town. We ordered a bunch of food and all are very good. So authentic though! If you visit Minnesota, don’t forget to check out this place.

Very nice little place, not very busy. Staff was super nice and very helpful. Spring rolls, fried dumplings, Pho with meatballs and brisket, and Vietnamese pasta with beef (Nui Xào Bò Lúc Lắc) were fantastic.

Bingo, we found it. The best taste similar like my home town and the host very friendly with warm.
I ordered take out and picked it up since I had work. I got the dumplings and a can sprite which came to almost $11, I didn’t get all 6 of my dumplings and was placed in a box which the dumplings were all stuck together and broken, (teared apart) it also came with flakes on them. It’s disappointing that I gave more then 20% for not a good experience
Went to try this place due to the place I usually go to doesn't open on Tuesdays. Atmosphere was good, Loved the detail of the place. Serviced a bottle of water which is a plus. I tried Pho with meatballs and Steak. Steak was super good as well as broth. Meatballs did not taste right, Spoke to staff about it and was very polite to not charge me for the meatballs. Wontons were okay.
Visited the place today. Love the services there. My favorite was the dumpling! It was so tasty without the sauce! And dumpling have noodles in it! The dumpling sauce was good, sweet and sour, on point for me! The pho was good, not too sweet or salty. I got P7 i believe, steak and tendons, yummy! My spouse got P3, the special. The egg roll was a little bit too garlicky, chicken wing was kind of plain... but over all my dumpling was the best. You can the dumpling stream or fried, i love steam dumpling, i like my dumpling kind of juicey. If you're around the area, a great place to try some Vietnamese food. They also serve other dishes as well but we didn't get to try it for we ordered a lot for 2 person.
Our last day in Minnesota and my bonus son (whoâs from MN) recommends his favorite place as the very last place for us to try before we hit the road and head back home. As soon as we entered, we were seated right away, and the food came out fast! (

This is a beautiful place to walk. The trails are nice and have some privacy and some beside the houses, but it's a good 2 miles around the lake. There were a lot of birds. I think it will be beautiful in spring when the trees have their leaves.
