I was so happy to see a pho restaurant in cape girardeau mo while here I'm from San Francisco CA so this was nice and way less expensive. We paid less than $50 and in SF it would of been over 70. Very nice people and nice service and their veitamenesse coffee was good.
Took over an hour for one veg pho bowel. Regardless of food quality that’s not good. Food was good. Been multiple times. Even when not busy food takes around 45 minutes to 90 minutes. Door dash orders will pile in ahead of your order and be served first. The food is very good
Food was quite good. Under salted for my preference. We did have to wait almost an hour for our food. Not a good place for a quick "bite and go" during a lunch hour. Difficult to find a clean table. That's why a 2 was given for the atmosphere. They were well staffed, so tables should have been cleaned. My husband was not happy about receiving a sunny side up egg on top of his dish. He likes eggs but likes them cooked thoroughly. I had to eat the egg. Just a suggestion to ask people how they like their egg, especially when they wait an hour for their food.
I waited 50 minutes for my beef pho. My husband got his chicken noodle bowl after about 30 min. He was long done eating before I got my food. Pho was very medicore. Definitely not worth the wait. There were 4 staff front of house, and others in the kitchen, so not sure what took so long. Kept saying "they're working on it right now".
The woman working the counter was very helpful and friendly. However, the food was very, very bland. The atmosphere felt like a cafeteria, which I do not enjoy. Overall, we were disappointed.
A really nice Vietnamese restaurant with helpful and friendly staff. If it’s your first time the menu can be a little confusing and overwhelming, but they will answer any question you may have. I had the Chicken Noodle Bowl and the chicken was marinated And cooked perfectly! My girlfriend ordered the chicken Banh Mi, a delicious sandwich. We both highly recommend it and will be returning.
Not bad, but they use some shortcuts - like pre-made slaw instead of a variety of veggies for the bun, no fish/vinegar/chili sauce to go with, had to ask for cilantro/basil....
My favorite place for eat when I'm in Cape. Love, love, love Pho 8. A hearty bowl of pho with some spring rolls on the side. Dynamite!!! Love the communal feel of the restaurant. Friendly, cozy, and always delicious. Please if you haven't been there stop depriving yourself and go enjoy.
Awesome place! Great beers! Lots of cool vinyl finds to both gawk at and take home. Owners and staff are super nice and will happily chat you up. Thereâs always good music playing (obviously) and the atmosphere and decor are inviting as well.
