Philz Coffee - Coffee shop in Encinitas - 1060 S Coast Hwy 101, USA

Best iced coffee I have ever had! I know that sounds dramatic, but each sip I was so impressed. I just moved to town from Portland, OR where we have some awesome coffee and coffee shops! I am so happy I found Philz coffee my first day here. So smooth, so delicious.

This is the best coffee place in town. What makes it more surprising is that it’s a chain , yet they still take care of their customers and have a consistently good quality. This place is also middle eastern owned so I’d like to help people who have started from nothing. The rose iced coffee is my go to at all times. However they do have a lot of great options that you can get lost by trying to choose which one. Hope this helps.

Delicious food, coffee and great service. The sandwiches/ breakfast burritos come nice and hot. Coffee comes hot as well. Tried the Tesora roast and bacon egg burrito- both are delicious. Wife got the turkey sausage English muffin. We also tried the almond croissant which is delicious. Even bought some k cups for the house. Can’t wait to come back. If you like great food and coffee- this place is a must try.

One of the coolest coffee spots I’ve been to in a while. Friendly staff, great coffee. Love the setup. If I lived in Encinitas it’d be my go to spot. I came in on a Sunday morning around 8:00am. I imagine anytime after 9:00 would be pretty busy. Overall well done, you’ll see me again sometime for sure 👌

This is the best place to get a quick coffee fix in before hitting the beach. The most fresh coffee and kind faces work here with so much pride. I love how they remember me even when I come maybe once a week. So much love to them!!

We've driven 6 hours from AZ to visit Philz coffee before, so to say we are super fans is an understatement. The coffee is great! However, part of the reason we love Philz is because everyone's always so happy and nice. Today, that wasn't the case. I really hope the barista was just having a bad day because she was shtty to the woman in front of us, AND to us. We will drive to another location instead of coming back here. The atmosphere just doesn't fit what we love about Philz. 😭 Drank our coffee in the car instead of staying inside.

Been wanting I come here for a while now. I ordered a tantalizing Turkish large coffee, omg I would compare it to an Americano, but with a bolder deep rich flavor. I'm totally sold. Amazing helpful customer service... Thanks

One of the best cups of coffee, keep in mind the coffee here is really strong compare to other coffee shops. Highly recommend, Tesora drinks, half cream, half milk. That’s my favorite. But they are more well know for the mint mojito iced coffee.
