Having in worked in the petro-chemical field for a little over thirty years it was nice to see a very nice slide of history of refineries, Phillips and the Bartlesville. You know its going to be a good time, when you walk into the place and you meet a most fascinating woman, that worked for Phillips for fifty-five years. We chatted with her for about fifteen minutes. These are the people that make places interesting. The rest of the museum did not disappoint. My buddy and I were very impressed with the amount of information, the layout of the museum, the history, and the displays. I've been to a few other museums of major companies and this was on par with them, (S.C. Johnson Wax in Racine comes to mind). I missed seeing this place in February of 2021 due to its closing for Covid and wanted to come back, and I'm glad I did. I would recommend this to anyone even remotely interested in history and specifically the history of Phillips. I got to think if you've come to Bartlesville most like it was for Phillips or for the Frank Lloyd Wright Price Tower, and if that is the case, this stop is well worth the stop.
The information and history of the company is staged beautifully and each exhibit flows on to the next. Every station is inviting, informative, and easy to interpret as you get taken on an adventure that show cases the American Dream.
I love finding out new information about the world I live in. This museum opened my eyes to the reality of how much our world was shaped and shifted by the minds at Phillips. Their story is truly inspirational.
We love learning about the lives of people who were able to overcome adversity and build their own success. The Phillip's brothers had vision genius. They were remark! I highly recommend this museum. It's Totally Free and awesome History. They even made a suit for being in a plane 10 miles above us that provided oxygen

Learn history of P66 . They show a short film about the old days of the company, their businesses, sports etc
and bartlesville. Not many visitors but the place is nicely maintained.
I was not actually able to enter the museum, but I felt like it was important to note in a review that tours are by reservation only right now, and you need to book 7 days in advance. There is information about that on the website. This was a bummer for me because I was looking forward to visiting it when I realized my hotel was right across the street. From what I could tell, it seems worth a visit, but make sure you plan.
A wealth of information and just lots of fun. There is loads of interesting memorable and a short film telling about Frank phillips and phillips 66.
This tells the story of how two men from Creston, IA, moved to Oklahoma and on their 4th attempt, hit a gusher! We got to the museum late so couldn't take it all in, so if you are short on time, watch the 9 minute film and then peruse the rest of the museum at your leisure. A step back in time! Did you know they have 15,000 patents?! Created the hula hoop? The list goes on.
