Great diner, actually from the 50's. Staff were friendly, price reasonable and atmosphere was amazing! Can't go wrong.

If you love classic American greasy spoons this is the place for you. No fuss no frill, just great service and classic diner favorites. I personally like the “garbage omelette” with everything but the sink. 😋

Ordered a toasted egg and olive sandwich. It arrived nicely toasted, skimpy on the filling. Should include chips for $5.50 IMO. Took the first bite thought it was a little off, couldn't figure how. It's egg and olive how could one screw it up. Another bite because I've never had bad experiences here or with any other egg and olive. It was a 3 bite per 1/2 sandwich . Opened it up after tasting a ton of mayo. It was loaded with more mayo than egg or olive. I set it aside and was asked if I wanted something different. I stated my distaste for it and they claimed I ate half (2/6 bites total) and should have to pay for it. I can more than afford to pay my ticket but shouldn't have to when grossed out. My options were get something different after losing my appetite or pay in full. This type of pay when it was shown the reason it was nasty was unacceptable. I will never return to this establishment again. The basics are screwed up and the conflict resolution is unjust. They acted like I was trying to get out of paying when paying is the furthest problem I have. I have been very blessed in my life and been fortunate for all I have. I hope this business can learn and understand how too much mayo is gross. But no one cared. I will NEVER go back again when I was visiting usually every 3 months or so as I don't live here. Disappointed and disheartened. Still tipped her $10 even though she couldn't manage to understand. Wanted to give $20 but she couldn't do the right thing. The right thing will cost you myself and my family along with this negative review. Thanks for all the other great experiences, but sadly never again out of principle.

Had a wonderful meal at the diner this morning. Excellent food and pleasant staff and atmosphere. Do yourself a favour and check out this local favourite.

My experience: 6 flies at any given time landing on you or your food. My mistake for ordering fish and chips in a small town diner sure, but to be fair I did ask how it was and the waitress said it was good, and said they use a homemade batter. But the fish was cooked to the point where I couldn't even bite through most of it and the fries were cheap. lol I am still giving 5 stars anyway because the main reason you go is for the atmosphere of a small town diner that countless generations and circumstances have passed through - since 1948! one element that adds to the atmosphere is the musky smell, particularly if you're sitting by the wooden part of the interior.

A popular spot for breakfast and lunch. It has a typical diner offering of food choices for both meals. The food is good and the staff is friendly and attentive. You should note that they no longer accept credit cards.

Love this place! My friend and I shop in Ogdensburg at least twice a year. We always start our visit at "Phil's" for breakfast. Love the old fashioned cozy, down home style. Prices are very good and food is excellent. Friendly staff too. Very good value for the money. We have noticed that many people there are regulars who we see each time we visit from Ottawa. We always miss a regular named Bruce who was a very sweet veteran who passed away during covid but we have since met other vets there. Everyone seems to know each other and we love the atmosphere. Keep doing what you're doing because you are doing it right. We look forward to seeing you again in the spring.

Great ice cream and great service. Everyone is always friendly. There is some outdoor seating if you bring the family. It's worth the stop here on a hot summer day!

Such lovely service and way better than the experiences I've had at big city lodgings. A big fridge and a microwave, clean, and the staff was all adorable and great. We got locked out of the room because of a sneaky inside door guard with a mind of i

Went to Buster's tonight for dinner and had their prime rib special. It was super yummy and I really enjoyed my meal. I am happy to see that they survived the pandemic. I haven't been since before COVID, it was a nice treat and worth the drive from O

Nice little park, clean and nice views of the St. Lawrence river and the Ogdensburg-Prescott bridge. It was the first time I have visited the park. I went there to see the tall ship Nao Trinidad. There is a nice playground for the kids, plenty of spa
