What a great little gem of a place. So pleasantly surprised. It appears to be upgraded with no rugs floors (yay) new bathrooms and furniture. The rooms were clean clean clean!! And they have a coffee bar! The beds were a bit high and not easy to her into and firm! I would suggest bigger and not as squishy pillows. Aside from that it appears to be a great family stay during the summer. A must try and the price is right for Charlestown!
Hotel was clean and bed was comfortable. However, the room we were in (one of the smaller rooms) had nowhere comfortable to sit - all it had was these miserable plastic chairs - and the bathroom door did not completely close.
Very clean and modern.. loved it. Pool places to relax. U can even get a cottage one if u want a kitchen….very close to the mini super and cvs and DD… a mile or so to the beach perfect location. Can’t say enough.. u can hear cars and trucks on rt 1 but the air conditioner drowned out most of the noise..
My husband and I stayed one night after day trip to Block Island The motel room and bathroom were spotless, nicely decorated and the grounds were lovely. It appears that there are bicycles to use for kids and adults, a fire pit that was going in the evening and the outdoor pool. Highly recommend and we will likely return when in the area.
Given different room then quoted noisy neighbors till 11pm was booked for two days left after first day room like a shoeboxdont get room number 9 awful
For our first trip to Rhode Island, this gem of a place was recommended to us by a family member and we were not disappointed at all!! The rooms were clean, modern, and very nicely decorated. In speaking to the amazing friendly and kind staff, we were informed that the rooms were just renovated. I love the sliding barn door over the bathroom instead of your traditional door, such a space saver. The property was clean as well and so much to do from putt putt to shuffle board and the pool was amazing. My daughter just had an amazing time and she met a little friend there as well. Such a great little gem, close to everything, and right off the main road and close to a Dunks to boot!! We will definitely be staying there again and making them part of our family tradition.
The rooms were very clean and looked like they were recently updated. We went to the Nordic Seafood Buffet near by, they were the ones who recommended Phil and Ann’s. We will definitely be staying here again. They also had a pool and other outdoor activities but since our stay was in April, we didn’t use any of them.
We stayed in a one queen bed (one room) that appears to have been completely and tastefully renovated with grays and whites, new flooring and wall treatments, new shower, sink, and furniture. (Photos don’t represent our room number 5 at all!). The shower has excellent lighting, linens and room were spotless. Comfortable bed and pillows. Not luxurious but an upgraded cabin- like feel - we would stay here again and were glad to find this comparatively well- priced room in an over-priced area. In fact, we booked a second night before catching the ferry to Block AIsland the next day. Two possible cons (not for us): no deadbolt on door (we felt perfectly safe) and we could hear occasional voices outside and next door but it was perfectly quiet at bedtime during our stay. Pool also looked nice although we didn’t use it.
East Beach in Rhode Island is truly a hidden gem for beach lovers. Tucked away from the hustle and bustle of the city, it offers a serene escape with its soft, white sand and gentle waves. The beach is immaculately maintained, allowing visitors to fo
beautiful indoor decor, very friendly service, clean bathrooms and eating space, and fantastic food (although a bit pricey) even if it was on the expensive side, you get what you pay for. I had a steak that was perfectly cooked with a spaghetti side
