This place is one of my favorite Vietnamese places in Oakland. They have their own parking lot and they have an outdoor patio. I particularly like their rice plates with grilled pork chops, but haven't had a bad meal there.
Excellent Broth, portion size and service. While most places cut cost by using a cheaper version of sriracha, pho Mekong uses the original huy fong sriracha.
Stopped into this place to have Pho for breakfast. I got the Brisket, Meatball and Steak Pho. The Steak was kinda tough but the broth had depth, it was beefy and flavorful. The basil and bean sprouts were fresh, which I appreciated. I also tried the coconut juice. It was fresh off the the tree. I felt instantly hydrated after drinking it. What a treat it was to be able to scrape the inside of the coconut out and eat it fresh. 😋
First Pho restaurant we tried in CA I really enjoyed the Pho Boh Tra (meat) was very good and the soup is Amazing if you have a bit of chilli spice 2 spoon. The TRà Thai was nice not too sweet as well
Great place to grab a combination pho #8 and rice plate. That's what my family and friends would order from there.
Good pho broth, very fatty and beefy. Authentic soup for reasonable price. Quick services because most of the time not a lot of people eat there.
A typical Vietnamese restaurant: Inexpensive food, fast (and somewhat courteous) service. The place does not look very clean though, selections are also a little limited. I ordered "bun bo Hue", the meat is chewy. Please park only on main street, I saw 2 cars parked on side street with broken windows!

All time favorite pho place I come here so often whenever I get out of work or whenever I crave a nice bowl of pho. They have great customer service they are always super welcoming and nice each time I come here. I love their chicken wings !! 10/10 f
