This is by far the best cocktail bar we have visited in the French Quarter. We felt like we had gone back in time with the old/classy decor and atmosphere. The drinks were excellent and I hope to come back one day for a stay once it reopens as a hotel.

You would never believe, lounging in the courtyard next to the fountain, that this place is half a block off Bourbon Street. This beautiful little cocktail bar with its peaceful courtyard, is an oasis of calm in a busy city. That the oasis comes with absolutely delectable cocktails only makes it that much more delightful. We were there for several hours, quietly nursing a succession of drinks and talking, and honestly only left because we were tired. Anything on the menu will be delightful, we particularly recommend the punch and the Irish coffee, but if you're just not feeling anything, ask the bartender for something special to suit the mood. I also had a Bijou (Oh yes, they still have Chartreuse) and a Corpse reviver, which were truly delightful and which went really well with the food from the Will and the Way next door (they'll deliver appetizers if you order off a specific spot of their menu). I will absolutely be back the next time in town.

The drinks are amazing, service was top notch! If you are looking for quality cocktails from a knowledgeable staff than you are in the right place! I can't wait for the hotel to open!

For a classic New Orleans vibe and cocktail, do yourself a favor and turn the corner from your Bourbon Street day binge and enter into Peychaud’s. It’s a dimly lit cozy indoor space, ideal for a small group and hot days; or if the weather’s nice, enjoy the greenery in the outside patio in the back. The cocktails are out of this world delivered with precision and care by the bartender. I was with a group of 6 and we got: French 75 (pictured in coupe glass), Pimm’s Cup (pictured in collins glass), Hurricane, Sazerac, two of the Reserve whiskeys, and Milk Punch. You can’t go wrong with any of them, just go with whatever you’re feeling st that moment!

As first timers in New Orleans, we were happy to find this quaint, slow tempo bar. The atmosphere was calm and the bartenders were welcoming. The music wasn't too loud either. We each ordered two cocktails and they were fantastic. My favorite of which was the Vieux Carré (pictured). If I ever find myself in New Orleans again, then this place will be at the top of my list for drinks.

The is such a fun place to grab a cocktail...a GOOD cocktail! I loved sitting outside in the courtyard with my husband and having a drink. It's a beautiful, quiet oasis away from the crowds.

Loved this cocktail bar! It's a wonderful, classy, conversation-friendly escape from the raucous obnoxiousness of Bourbon Street, even though it is merely steps away. The drinks were delicious and service friendly and attentive. Try to get a table out back in the courtyard.

Had the Roffignac and the Absinthe Suissesse and you couldn't go wrong with either. I didn't check out the courtyard, but I did like the atmosphere inside. The bartenders were very friendly and I will definitely be visiting here again if I'm ever back in town.
