This shop has lovely, knowledgeable staff with a great curated selection of food you can’t find elsewhere. When I had a kitty I could not get to eat, they gave me samples to try until I found one she liked. Such a gem in St Pete!
PetWorks has a great selection of vetted pet products and foods. I am impressed with the amount of detail, care, and knowledge that Kelli and Robert have put into ensuring they know the products they sell, as well as their customers! With the recent addition of their grooming services, I've never felt more comfortable leaving my Pom at a groomer. I know she's in great hands, and Sarah does an amazing job. PetWorks is truly the only pet market in the Tampa Bay area that offers such unrivaled concierge-level service and has far exceeded any expectations. I love petworks! I walked in one afternoon after work and even though they were technically closed for the day, they allowed me to come and browse their selection. I had my puppy muffin with me, and after speaking to the associates, I was given amazing information about pet health and nutrition. I learned so much from the knowledgeable staff, and left with a great selection of goodies for my dog that were complementary. They weren’t trying to upsell me on anything, they were just giving me valuable information that I am so thankful to have learned! I will continue to use them for all of muffins needs.
Heidi Lulu is now a pristine specimen of dog. We were hesitant to attempt grooming, but Allie (groomer) was so very sweet and kind to her. I am happy to now that this is the best place for her….. thank u PetWorks… and Allie!!
Wow! Went here on a whim after visiting the nearby farmer's market and wound up pleasantly surprised. They carry cat foods with great ingredients, have a variety of options, and they even stock raw food if you can't make your own! I was very pleased to see a store doing this and succeeding. Employees were also the right amount of helpful. If I lived in the area, I would probably go here too often for cat treats and toys. My boys went nuts for the ones we did bring home. Happy to see a business like this and will definitely visit again.
Autumn does good work. However if you are going to use Petworks they will require flexibility from you but will not offer you the same. After several months I was late ONE time and they tried to charge me a fee. Even when I was constantly called to bring my pup in earlier or later to accommodate their scheduling. The Customer service isn’t up to par. I won’t be taking my pup there again. Also, probably because I am a woman of color, they refer to me as “hun” and not by my name. They should have more respect for their patrons.
