Pettibone Resort - Event venue in La Crosse - 333 Park Plaza Dr, USA

Stayed in site 102 right next to the river, good Bass fishing . Full hookup except for sewer being that the resort is on the river and has spring flooding. There are two dump stations on the way out. Very nice and clean bath and shower house. Fire wood is available. Will definitely stay again.

This is a very nice campground!! Mark the owner is super nice and helpful. We have enjoyed our stay on the river. Very quiet and peaceful. Can’t wait to come back.

If you would've asked me up until the day of the wedding, I would've given Pettibone a 5/5. It was a gorgeous venue, the manager was very helpful and great to work with, the price was decent for what was included, and it was overall a good experience. However, the day of the wedding there were some last minute unexpected costs and twists thrown in. For one, we had agreed that we would get a custom bar package that included unlimited house wine and 2 beers, and then $500 put towards Moscow mules for the bridal party and parents. We thought we had paid for everything in the final payment we made the week prior, because we were told that was the FINAL payment. However, while I was getting my makeup done for the wedding, the manager came in and asked me if I wanted to give her a credit card to put the Moscow mules on. I told her I thought that had already been paid for, but she said she didn't include it in the bar package, despite the fact that we had already agreed to do that. Also, the men paid $400 to get ready in a camper, and they weren't told until an hour before the ceremony that they had to have everything out of the camper by the time the ceremony started. That was never mentioned beforehand, and we had the bridal suite all day, so we thought the men would have the camper all day, especially with how much we paid for it. Their speakers were also horrible so our ceremony musician let us use her speakers. Like I said, it was great until the day of the wedding, but I feel like they did a lot of last minute things that we weren't prepared for, which is the last thing you want on your wedding day.

The wedding was beautiful only because the people getting married made it beautiful. Other then that it was the worse experience I have ever had. Due to the staff.... After my family already gave them a great amount to have the wedding there and payed for all the drinks all night long!! they wanted to charge$60.00 for COFFEE! Then two little girls no more then 3years old pick some petals off a mum that was already dead they charged another $10.00 to replace it! I just think it was very petty! Will never have an event there ever again!!

The venue and view is absolutely beautiful, how ever the manager Kristin was horrible to work with the day of the wedding. She put a good front being nice and friendly to work with leading up to the wedding but day off was awful. She was nothing but snotty and rude to me, my bridal party, and guests. We had a bridal suite we paid $1,000 extra for to have for the whole day to get ready in and she okay’d us to bring snacks and drinks and during the pictures before our ceremony one of my family members walked in a caught her dumping out all the bottles we brought for drinks that and said was okay. She would sit and walk around the parking lot going up to people asking them what they were drinking and making sure they bought it from HER bar and not to mention a few people she confronted where kids under the age of 18 that were drinking sodas and not to mention my best friends Mom was loading my 2 year old god son up in the car to go home and she ran over and said what are you doing and my friends Mom said putting my grandson in the car so we can leave and Kristin said oh okay well as long as you’re not bringing alcohol in…who does that? We paid for drinks for our guests at the bar why would people bring their own when it’s against the contract? She also lost a pair of scissors we were billed for out of our refund because she states someone “stole” them…yes because my bridal party needed scissors that bad they had to steal some🤦🏼‍♀️ We also had people catch her taking 2 or 3 separate trips to our cupcake table for our GUESTS and taking cupcakes for herself and staff without asking us if that was okay. Never did we offer her to take them. NOT okay. The ceremony and venue was absolutely beautiful and the food catered by Blue Moon was 10/10 and same with the service from their staff catering!

Nice grassy spots right on the river. Clean bathrooms& showers, bar, store,fire pits,& picnic tables, playground,private entry. Very much enjoyed our stay.

Loved the campground. Lots of trees for shade and everyone has been very friendly. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a weekend getaway or longer. Will definitely make a return trip next year.

Loved this camping spot. Staff very friendly. I had a spot right on the river with very green lawn around. Highly recommend.
