PetSmart - Pet supply store in Modesto - 3900 Sisk Rd, USA

This is the second instance we’ve experienced awful customer service when trying to buy an animal from this location. We went in to buy an animal after wanting one in particular for months. It was surprising that they had what we were looking for, as they never had that particular species before. The staff was well aware that I was shopping for the enclosure and necessities before finalizing my purchase. While finalizing our shopping, another female employee told us she had intentionally cut off animal sales (shortly after we had expressed that we would be buying the animal to another male employee who had informed her). Without any customer service charm or skills, she lied to our faces and told us she had no information that we were intentionally shopping for that animal (right after she approached us saying “oh you were the ones shopping for that animal”) and basically kicked us out of the store with our shopping cart full of what we needed for the animal. If you knew you were going to cut off animal sales at a certain time, and you knew we were intentionally shopping to buy that animal, it is YOUR JOB to inform us that you will be choosing to close animal sales 30 min before the store closes. The intentions behind the lack of information was clear: this woman just wanted us out of the store so she didn’t have to do her job and so she could go home early. The female employee in charge of animal sales needs some kind of correction when it comes to customer service! Customers should never have to feel the way we did after being treated so rudely. If you wanted to close animal sales early, FINE, but there’s no reason for the lack of information and manners!

This place is pretty good. They have a great selection of dog food and the toys selection is not bad. Not the best place for fish or or aquariums.

Very helpful was getting flee prevention and pumpkin cat food for my cat and the stores employees directed me straight to the items I needed great service good place for getting food and medicine for your animal

I like this store. Its small and not crowded ever. They have what you need, get in get your pet supplies and get out. They keep it simple and streamlined. If you're in a hurry or wanna take your time and browse pet products to compare against each other, here you can. Its quiet and clean and they have ample variety of pet products mainly dog and cat put also fish, reptile, bird and other small animal stuff too of you need things.

I go here for crickets & wingless fruit flies for my frogs. I also go here for my dog food because they have such a great selection & if you sign up for pet perks you can get discounts on your purchases.

totally Perfect!! i purchased 2 Oversized rainbow collars Online, they were Not What I Needed for my RainBeau Kitten, this store has all Sorts Of Rainbow Items!! The Cashier Noticed My Rainbow Theme, and Showed me a Rainbow Tag at the Register i totally Missed. Wow such Stellar Service i loved the Options and this store was So Large and Very Clean as Well very Kind
