Found a thunder jacket for our dog. Fits great. Decent selection of Halloween outfits as well.
They had what we needed for our new kitten and it's a good store, but I never saw any staff walking around or helping people. Maybe I'm just unlucky and didn't see them, but we did have trouble finding a few things with no one but the cashier's in sight to help.
If I could leave a zero, I would. I purchased a dog door off of their website and paid with PayPal. The dog door was the wrong size. I took it to the store (unopened) to return it, and the store associate and manager said that since it was paid with PayPal, they cannot return it. I called the home office number and was told the same thing. You cannot even return it through the mail if you purchased using PayPal. PayPal has always been like using cash for me everywhere else so this rule seems so wrong. Once I was able to find the time to return to the store to exchange it for something I could use, I was then told it had been over 90 days now and I was unable to exchange it as well. I told the girl that I guess I should have just said that I didn’t have a receipt so I could have at least exchanged it still, and she countered with that she would still have to have the receipt to exchange it since it was a big ticket item. Really?!
I can’t say enough about pet smart I absolutely love this store. The manager and employees are always attentive and friendly. I always find an array of items to purchase. I also love that for years they have always welcomed rescue organizations and held adoption events that’s where I got my chihuahua 6 yrs ago. Now that my chihuahua passed on at 16 yrs old I take my Pomeranian in there and they shower him with love. My Pomeranian has a very sensitive stomach so I buy his dog food there it’s the sensitive stomach by Authority and did you know some of their ingredients are sourced locally so in return helps our local corporations that employ our neighbors. I always donate to the rescue kitties they help to adopt out in store as well.
I would have given it 3 stars based on some challenging communication with the one sales associate. After speaking with a a second associate, I believe the first associate just didn't understand what we were looking for. It was a simple misunderstanding of our needs. We were helped. We found the items we were looking for. And we are ready to begin our journey with our adopted baby 🐕
Way better than Petco! A little on the pricey side but the employees are friendly. Easy location to get in and out.

Police report filed still waiting from the detective BUUUTTTT as well as I got a call from the District manager Jai Shrodder(don’t know if it’s spelled right) apparently there is NOTHING they can do about our money being stolen FROM THE MANAGER b said that there’s no cameras in the office where they have the safe so they can’t see her take our money….HOW IS THAT SAFE to have no camera in the room with the safe?! I’ll gladly accept the loss of the $292 but what PETSMART needs to do is realize that they have a thief working among them and I’ll leave this in the hands of Karma, cause one thing about Karma is the tables will always turn. Word of mouth goes a long way!!
****Update***
We were able to talk to the manager who did review the video, and older couple did return the Wallet which did fall out of the pocket in the store foyer (cart corral area) we asked if the customer fumbled with the wallet she said no he picked it up and retuned it right to an associate, we we replied “so your confirming the customer didn’t mess with the wallet and returned it so the money was still in the wallet when it was given to the associate but when returned to us it was missing, not to point fingers at anybody but do you see how it’s conflicting?” She responded immediately “I trust my managers so that’s,THAT!” From there we have filed a report with the police and have a detective looking into this.

I hope the $292 dollars that was stolen out of my wallet when it fell on the ground was worth it, apparently “an old man” returned my wallet from outside but only stole the money that was wrapped in a receipt instead of all the cash, when we went back to get it and noticed some money missing, the cashier seemed unwilling to get a manager to look at the cameras then when the manager was called (I think her name was Brittney) she rolled her eyes and smirked and made a face at the cashier thinking I wouldn’t see and was at a loss for words when I asked her not to make faces at my situation and to help when I asked for her manager. All I was wanting was for someone to show even A LITTLE compassion and caring that I was robbed of $292. Now the “highest of managers” shows up and they are telling me there’s nothing they can do, I ask for their manager or the store managers name so I can ask to speak to them and they “can’t give out personal information” they said they didn’t know the store managers name and if they did they couldn’t help me… so what is someone suppose to do if their personal items are stolen on property? I guess nothing because nobody can access any cameras and nobody can reach out to any managers or give any names of managers… sounds to me like this may have been an inside job and they didn’t realize I knew exactly to the dollar how much was stolen..

I thoroughly enjoy the wonderful soaps, body moisture creams, and chapstick. The scents are wonderful. Some of the chapstick is seasonal, which makes it fun.
