They are the best. We had to make the unfortunate decision to let our dog go due to renal failure and a cancerous mass on her spleen. It was the most difficult and heartbreaking decision of our adult lives. Dr. Hansen and Jessi were so compassionate and understanding. They didn't rush or hurry us and were incredible during our the worst day of our lives. I have been taking my pets there as a child and now as an adult. I absolutely love Dr. Johnson. Dr. Hansen has been incredible to us as well. Just recently met Dr. Christensen and she was great as well. I will never take my furkids anywhere else. The front office is great! I love Amy and Amber and Carla is a sweetie. All the techs are wonderful. My dogs get excited to go to the vet. Best vet clinic!

Pets first will always be a vet I recommend to anyone in the area. They are amazing, and caring people. I love their techs and Dr Johnson was always wonderful. I cannot thank them enough for helping my old lady pass. Great vet and staff! 💜🐶

They made putting down my dog an amazing experience. Will be coming back for myself (joke). Overall, they were really polite and talked us through the experience and were there for us through the hard time. They were much appreciated.

All I can say is, Dr. Johnson will love on your pet so much, they won't want to come home. :) The staff is amazing, the vet super friendly and knowledgeable. I worry about my dog being aggressive towards other animals or peeing on the floor, but the staff and vet were both so good at keeping him busy with treats, loves (so many loves!), and kind words that he wasn't even phased by the cats and other dogs there. The wellness check was super thorough. They covered everything and then some. I'm so glad I have Dr. Johnson and his staff to love my pet as much as I love him.

Today is the third trip to this very fine veterinarian establishment! 2 years ago we took our beautiful little dog to be spayed, they treated her like the princess that she is and were very professional every interaction we've had with them. We continue to take our dog for service at this establishment because first of all their prices are reasonable and they are very professional and very clean. We continue to return to this establishment for our 6 month supply of Heartgard and our yearly shots! I highly recommend this establishment for your veterinarian needs! Keep up the hard work petsfirst you're doing an amazing job! Update:: been bringing our sweet dog here now for many years! I don't have one single complaint I'm not a big five-star review giver but they are in every bit of five stars. I went in last Wednesday to get my dog her boarding vaccinations and just get a good overall wellness check and pick up a box of heartgard. They got me in and out in under 15 minutes. They're always so good to the animal and they show their full attention to the animal the entire time also make me comfortable as well! I can't say enough about this establishment I would recommend this place to my friends and family everyday of the week and a couple times on sunday! 2022 update... Still the best veterinarian around not just in box elder county not just in Cache county but pretty much any other veterinarian PetsFirst! wellness center is second to none! They just seem to listen to your concerns and really give you their attention when you're with them. Order with your animal. And Dr Lamar Johnson you can just hear the love for animals in his voice. My Roxie takes liking to him! My dog is always very nervous at the vet anxiety level goes up high for both me and her she also will shed a lot while she's there just from the stress and these folks do a great job trying to do their best to make her comfortable. And I appreciate that I will be coming back for many years to come even though I don't live in that city any longer. Well worth the drive.

I can’t say enough good things about the entire staff here… I have a 6 month puppy that all the sudden got incredibly ill, another clinic in Box Elder took it upon themselves to take the slow approach to treating him. By the next morning, he was so lifeless. I reached out to this incredible crew and they got him in immediately to start trying to diagnose and treat him. They kept him for the day and we followed up the next morning where they wanted to keep him again for observation. Dr. Johnson had said that if he wasn’t well enough to come home the first night, he would personally take him home to watch over him. We aren’t completely healed yet, but he is now a night and day difference from when I originally took him in. I am grateful for their fast approach and compassion to get him better. All of my business will be moved over to this amazing group. They truly care for the animals they see.

Like us we don't necessarily run to the doctors for a little sniffles. That being said first time being to ther facilities after a very rude experience at a diffrent clinic, they communicated well with me about my dog, they treated him like he was their pup, gave him treats that he was more than happy to receive. Took extra care to make him comfortable and happy. Happy to say I will being going back with my dog and I would not shy anyone away from them.

It was a very sad day having to put my mom's dog down but everyone there was so kind and sensitive to our situation. Thank you!
