Stepped into this small town diner and did not regret it! Out of soup I wanted but I did enjoy a burger w fries and gravy. Priced right, clean and friendly staff.
We were pretty disappointed with our experience overall. The steak was pure tendons and gristle… the flavor was not very good either. I asked for some steak sauce and at first was told they didn’t have any, then they found a bottle but unfortunately it didn’t help much. The service was not very good either. They are hiring for a cook, hopefully that will help. We will give them another try in a few months when we are back in town and hopefully I can give a positive update to this review…
I went with a friend who recommended this place. I was sorely disappointed by the quality of the food and truly amazed that the place was so packed. The noise level was so loud that we could barely talk. I treated her and the bill came to just over $30 with the tip. I have to say that the flat and super dry scrambled egg was the worst I have ever eaten in a restaurant. And the home fries were practically raw in places, which isn't so uncommon. My friend's over-easy eggs looked far better and she liked the corned beef hash. The only yummy things I had were the sesame bagel and coffee. The waitress was rather surly, but that sort of comes with the territory at a classic diner.
Old school family diner vibes! Service was prompt and friendly. Good for breakfast or lunch. Diner menu is extensive as usual. I had the eggs Benedict, which was just OK, bht my danish was amazing! My family like their breakfast platters and omelettes. Right on the main strip in Rhinebeck so might be a great stop for locals and visitors alike, with something for the whole fam.
Waffle was good, however I ordered the strawberries and instead of fresh ones, I received canned ones which was very disappointing. Great service Mac and cheese wasn’t very good, and chicken parm was bad.
I was craving boneless wings and this place did a great job! Very satisfied and love that they included 3 dipping sauces
Thank you to Pete’s, all the other store fronts, and the Village of Rhinebeck for accommodating for outdoor seating during these times. The food came out quick, and was delicious. Ordered the panini and the bread itself was fresh and yummy. My partner ordered waffle fries, which were crispy and not greasy. Staff was super friendly, clean, and fast. I would definitely come here again to try the rest of their menu.
Probably my favorite place I've eaten at in the region. I come to NY on vacation to visit my girlfriend and we've been to Pete's twice, both of which being exceptional experiences. The first time, I was feeling very tired and faint from not eating, and the meal here perked me right back up. The second, we came for breakfast on Halloween, and not only was the food phenomenal as I'd come to expect, our waitress was such a darling and I liked her a lot. She provided great service, was very charming and energetic despite apparently having had a HUGE rush right before we came in and being on her own, and made sure we were never wanting for anything. She was one of the highlights of my trip - I don't remember her name, but she had gray hair in a bob with bangs and a really sweet smile. Not only is the food delicious, it's super affordably priced and you get pretty big portions. It comes out fast, too. Out of everywhere in Rhinebeck I'd probably choose Pete's to eat at whenever I'm feeling hungry in the area. I really like it and I can't wait to live more local to it so I can have the food there more often.
Best pizza in town! So good that I had to order the special clam pizza plus my go to margherita. The clam pizza was perfectly cooked and tasted great, while the margherita was wonderful as per usual.
This place is my idea of paradise. Forests are my spirit home and this one was amazing. I was visiting from the UK and really loved it. With 2 small nephews we didn't walk a full trail but I still had plenty of wilderness to enjoy and a desire to com
Dropped in for an early dinner while passing through Rheinbeck. The dining area is on the small side hour, but due to the hour we found a place to sit after placing our order with the cordial counter person. I had two standard dogs and regular fries.
Thomas Thompson & Sally Mazzarella Community Park has a whole lot to offer for outdoor recreational activities. Playground for children, basketball court, tennis courts, baseball field, soccer field. There is also a community garden to enjoy. The Rhi
I ordered by slice, the staff warmed it up for me. The bottom was crispy and the dough is chewy. I guess it would taste so good if I ordered the whole pizza freshly made. Definitely I will go back again.
I really liked the decor of this place, and I was happy to have Mexican food again because that's mostly what I eat here at home in Houston. The food was delicious and they give you plenty, and although it's a little bit pricey, it makes sense for th
Had a delightful lunch in the Tavern. The menu selection is a good mix of their regular dishes plus some excellent seasonal specials. The beer menu is consistently good and I enjoyed a tasty IPA from Hudson Valley. Service was terrific and ambiance i
