Classic joint with great quality dogs (with a casing). Chili dog is a winner—sauce is thin but very flavorful. Plenty of other topping options and meal specials. My colleague’s son described Pete’s as “the most amazing place in the world” and for the price I won’t argue. Service is also lightning fast, just know there aren’t vegetarian hotdog options, so only go if you’re an omnivore.

I don’t eat here very often. But the times I’ve stopped in with a couple of friends or family the hot dogs with chili and onions has been one of my favorites! Excellent flavors also very addicting too. Yummy and delicious! Very hard these days to find good hotdog stands! This place the times I’ve been here rocks!! Hoorah! Yeehaw! Yeehaw! Cowabunga!😋

The best hot dogs around I always get the New York loaded. I used to be able to scarf down four. The nice little hot dog stand people are friendly and the quality is always the same

Not much to say really. The hot dogs are tasty, reasonably priced and service is super quick. I believe they only take cash so beware, though they have an ATM if needed, but the cost of the ATM is more than a hot dog. It was reasonably clean inside if a bit outdated. Very limited menu of hot dogs with various toppings. I noticed potato salad and either cole slaw or macaroni salad and chips as well as drinks.

Loved visiting this nostalgic place in Newburgh. Hot dogs awesome! Service fast and friendly. FYI cash only.

Excellent hot dogs with that classic snap! Had the Kraut and Mustard, it was excellent! Also had the Texas meat sauce, onions and mustard. Sauce was very mild and flavorful. Great little gem of a grill!
