This place is amazing! We just moved to the area and wanted to eat some local food and this diner hit the spot. I got the special: pastrami burger. The burger was huge and full of pastrami, not just a slice of 2. I also got the mac and cheese and it was home cooked Mac and cheese, absolutely delicious. The wife got the heart attack burger and this thing was almost the size of the plate! Highly recommend, will absolutely be back!

Hot Dog plate... was ready to eat fries was hot,crispy. Love there sweet tea. Good price that's what I like. Employees are nice friendly.

Edit*** 3 years later *** Still on point bigger and better now. The big breakfast is legit. The pancake would choke a whale. The Hash browns are crunchy. The Endless coffee. Great desserts. Our waitress exuded southern charm. Very attentive even when breakfast was packed. Clean bathrooms 3 year ago* Stopped in to Pete's today. I come here 1-2 times a year. I am never disapoitned. I love this place. Good food. Good Service. Freindly people. Today I was feeling adventurous so I ordered the 10oz cheeseburger. This thing was so big, one could have mistakened it for a voltswagon. Next to it was fries piled up like they just had a mishap in the lumber yard. These jumbo fries looked like you could build a cabin with them. Oh oh oh and ..... and .... they give you a bowl of coleslaw to make sure, you don’t leave hungry! You guys I asked for pickles, and they did not fail me. My burger had pickles on every square inch of the bun. This 10oz monster is not for the faint of heart. You have to be the type of person that’s willing to give it your all, and then some to finish this meal. Luckily they have a variety of foods, something for everyone in the family to enjoy. Even the ones that are faint hearted.

So to be fair I’m really want to give this place like a 3.4 because it wasn’t thattt bad. So I had liver. Macaroni and rice so the liver were fried well but the macoroni was not to my liking at all. The plus is if you have a sweet tooth they have a big dessert counter.

Stopped in for breakfast. Very good! I had the Jambalaya and really liked it. The hashbrowns inside were just right crispy 👌 My girlfriend had the breakfast bowl and was happy with her meal too. The lunch menu has several choices, like a lot! If it's as good as breakfast, it'll be great! We'll have to come back and find out.

Great food and service Paula was very on top of things fries could use a little salt o-rings was one of the best I have had chill cheeseburger was great bird dog was better than the place in town that claims to be "home" to the bird dog will come back soon owner even came out to speak.

After our 1st experience, I feel bad for waiting so long to go to the new location. We went on a Friday and tried the fish fry special. Some of the best catfish I've had. Kids had burgers and chicken tenders. Those were also very tasty! We'll definitely return! Service was also very friendly!
