Always a close by favorite trail. Lots of different trails to take Peters Canyon is really huge so there are lots of options for trails to take. Always a good mix of mountain views and greenery.
If you decide to go and you don't want to have a huge crowd go Mon thru Wed before 4p. Usually in the early evening and especially on the weekends it becomes pretty crowded and harder to find parking.
One of my go to trails. It is a 4 mile walk filled with in and declines for a great hour+ workout! Do bring water for your dog and avoid taking your furry one in a hot summer day. The upper part of the trail does not have much, if any, shade to cool down from. That also means wear your sunscreen!!!
Its my favorite local place to visit for hiking.
Its not remote but it offers enough low land desert nature for my needs.
The 5.9 mile loop is great exercise and is a challenge for any age.
I grew to love this canyon despite the close proximity of homes.
It has it all. Trails and nature.
Come here.
Probably my favorite trail in Irvine! Its so beautiful here and peaceful. Although, there are always people here and can sometimes be a little busy for a hike.. other than that, there are lots of mountains with good incline. You can really work up a sweat. The scenery is very pretty, and the size of this place is huge. Can spend about half a day here.
Such a good trail for just walking or working out, many options for harder or easier paths. I could see this being a great park for trail runners. Two peaks with great views (of a neighborhood but still high up enough to see to the ocean) and a paved option for those with mobility issues as well.
It's such an awesome hike! We totally enjoy as a family. It has a little bit of everything, flat, up hill, rocky, sandy, has beautiful trees, and benches here an there to rest. I love it!
Last visit here was during the summer where it was all dead. Now it's nice and green especially with the recent rain. Lake is not dried up and a few wildflowers here and there throughout the area. Trails with the inclines make for some nice views.
If you're an avid hiker and like long challenging trails, Peters Canyon is highly recommended. There are plenty of unpaved hilly and flat trails, and Ive seen people horse back riding here also. It is a moderately busy trail which is a plus if you do not like to be hiking alone. Unfortunately, a forest fire hit the area in 2017 so the vegetation is slowly growing back. If you're looking for an easy stroll or are pushing a stroller, I would recommend another trail as this is very sunny with little shade. Be sure to bring water to stay hydrated and hand sanitizer (as the outhouses do not have any). Parking is free here and the trail is about a 5 minute walk from the unpaved trail.
Citrus Ranch Park is a family-friendly park located in Tustin, California, known for its beautiful scenery and abundant lemon trees. The park offers a variety of amenities including picnic areas, playgrounds, and walking trails. It's a popular destin
Cute little park with exercise equipment, volleyball court, and a good playground for kids. Lots of grass area and seating. Restrooms are available. Its off major streets so no parking lot, only street parking.
Iâd like to start out that Miles is a GREAT game master! He was very informative and never broke character throughout our entire game, even when we ask for a hint. The room terminal was incredibly well decorated and the puzzles were a lot of fun! W
