Great Pet Store! They have always had a great location that is kept clean neat and tidy! I was impressed with their huge selection of pet supplies. Very conveinent to have a pet store in. This area! The staff is knowledge and helpful and friendly. All kinds of animals and creatures available to buy! So many types of fish. They even have birds for sale here! Lastly, you get your pet groomed here!
This is the worst petco I have even been in, it’s never been cleaned the cages are disgusting and you can barely see the animals which are all sick and dying. My daughter’s favorite animal in the store was a small chameleon over the last two weeks it has been getting worse and worse, today it was dead on the floor of the cage, seems like it’s been there for a couple of days. There’s dirt and cobwebs on all the racks. This store needs to be boycotted, it’s cruel for these poor animals to live in such filth. This store desperately needs new management and cleaned up. It seems to be always understaffed.
I used to go to this location for all of my needs, it’s even where my dog went to school. But I am massively disappointed and it looks like I’m not the only one. My cat has been having stomach problems the last week and I’ve been trying to figure out what it was (he’s a ginger so I was VERY concerned) and today I was giving him his treat when I got a horrible idea… check the expiration. I have no way to prove this as I had full faith a pet store would sell treats that weren’t expired. But I got them in June of 2023… they expired august 24th of 2022. Mind you: I just picked this right off the shelves. My question is: how many products have missed this heavily of quality control??? It was nearly a year expired and no one did a thing?? It was just- on the shelf? I’m very disappointed and will advise everyone I know to not shop at this location.
So my cats are kind of picky and they like a couple certain foods that I can't afford, of course they love all the super expensive foods but, no can buy! I live a half an hour away from this Petco and I didn't want to drive all the way up here to find out they didn't have the food I was needing for my cats tonight, so I called and one of the clerks went back and said yes we have 14 cans! I said perfect, I'll take them all! That's some really nice customer service
My daughter went to Petco to return a doggie vest that was too small. She had her receipt. It was barely over the 30-day window for a refund. I can respect that there are rules. However, there was a bigger issue. My daughter noticed that she was originally charged twice for that item. The cashier was extremely reluctant to correct the error. She treated my daughter as if she couldn't care less about the error. The cashier was rude, condescending & unprofessional. To top it off, she had the nerve to charge 10 cents for a plastic bag on her way out! Another issue was that it was an hour past opening time & the front doors had to be manually separated. This occurred Sunday, 12/31/23.
They are always so willing to help. My child always goes up and asks exactly what she'll need or how attentive she would need to be. ALWAYS gets a friendly response.
This used to be my favorite store for all of my pets needs. That’s changed as their selection has gotten slimmer and to top it off, I received the worst customer service from the manager John. I bought a multivitamin for my dog and he didn’t like it so I exchanged it; my dog still didn’t like it so I went in to return the item and the manager John would only give me a partial refund to my card. The transactions were all within 30 days so there is no question that I was within the return period. The way he spoke to me was so rude and condescending. I asked him why he was only giving me a partial refund and he said “I don’t know I don’t make the system”. I could see the screen said “cash” was an option he could select yet refused to because I didn’t pay cash. Well guess what, I also didn’t pay in store credit! In a previous visit I saw him get in a screaming match with a customer and originally I had felt bad for him and the other employees, but now I can see why a customer would have been so frustrated dealing with an employee like him. I am never coming back to this location.
I always love coming here. My dogs get spoiled rotten with the amount of different treats and toys we get. The employees at the register this last visit seemed to be distracted when trying to check us out. They are chatting with other employees and didn't engage with us as customers as I remember they used to. I will still be shopping here, their selection of toys and treats for our dogs are great.
I just barely started here a few weeks ago and I love it!!! Staff is so nice and welcoming and really push you to reach your potential! They always provide modifications if needed. This gym has such a positive energy and amazing culture. I love it!!
