Petco - Pet store in Fort Smith - 3835 Phoenix Ave, USA

I love this place. Even though they didn't have what I needed which was a shirt or something for a 2 pound Chihuahua they were very polite and very apologetic. It took everything I had not to leave with another animal. They have all kinds of fish, lizards, and my oh so not favorite snakes. The snakes look cool I just don't like them. The people are very nice and of course they are pet friendly. It's nice to not get the bad stares like I get some places. My dog may be 2 lbs but he's a service dog. He has to go where I go.

Whitney was so gentle with my Saint Bernard, Benny. She got us set up with a VIP appointment so Benny wouldn’t have to be in a kennel much. She went above and beyond and we will definitely be back! Benny looks so clean and fresh!

Petco offers grooming appointments and that’s the feature I’m reviewing. I’ve been bringing my dog in for a couple of years and the groomers do a great job of getting him clean down to his paws. They are professional, nice and efficient. The one we had last time went above and beyond taking care of PJ. Thank you Petco for hiring groomers who care.

Petco is awesome for the most part, but your prices are too high. I use Amazon or Chewy whenever I can because they are usually cheaper. Your stores (especially your unleashed stores) are wonderful, clean, and organized, and your staff is very helpful.

I went into Petco wanting to start an aquarium. I had no clue what I wanted or needed. One of the employees, Dion, was great! He was so honest with me, helped me find exactly what I wanted, helped me save a little money, and I left so satisfied! I HIGHLY recommend him. Thank you Dion!! (Petco, this guy should really have a lot of raises after this) His knowledge was incredible! I didn't talk to any of the other employees, other than the girl checking me out (SUPER friendly and professional) , but while I was in there I could tell that they are all amazing in there! This was by far the BEST experience I have had. Thank you Petco of Fort Smith!

Took my dog in for a haircut. Picked him up a few hours later to find out that he was not given a haircut because he was “too rowdy”. This if after he has been there multiple times before for a haircut and nail trims. They still charged me $52 for a bath. Yes. FIFTY TWO DOLLARS FOR JUST A BATH. Somehow he wasn’t “too rowdy” to get completely dried to the skin after the bath, however does not smell like he had a bath at all. Do not recommend. Please save your money and go ANYWHERE else.
