Petco - Pet store in Middletown - 1309 W Main Rd, USA

I come here often to get food and supplies for my lizards. I like that the location is so convenient and there’s plenty of parking available. Most of the time they have what I need in stock. The best thing about this Petco is the employees! They’re always so friendly and helpful, even when it’s short staffed.

They're over charging for grooming to begin with. But then they charge you for every tiny little thing they can. Like I guess if you don't want your entire dog to be cut one length, then you're gonna have to shell out the big bucks. I've never in my life had a groomer charge me extra for "shaving" or "scissoring". It doesn't make any sense at all. I've been charged extra for post-surgery matting, but I was warned ahead of time. I guess our previous groomer was just an actual professional lol. Charging for each and every change in fur length? They're gonna charge you for each clipper guard they use. What a joke. Super dishonest business practices. I don't accept that copy and paste apology response👍

I take my two beloved little ones for grooming here and they always do a good job. Excellent customer service and always treat my dogs with care and respect.

I'm not liking your new return policy I do my pet shopping for my 11 pets in petco and have been for years I tried to return some meds for my cats because no vet would take a new patient. They blame all of the bored people out there who adopted cats n dogs hamsters, etc... during Dec 2019 and March 2022 More pets are over loading the few affordable and expensive vets, they aren't opening their doors one of my cats has been hiding under my bed for 9 days not eating Vets don't care, can't be seen, no doctors available, no meds to take.. My bf and I figured it out by reading, watching videos, talking to a reliable employee from petco I had a return this afternoon but no receipt, couldn't be located The employees all said the same thing No exchanges, no credit on a gift card, no sympathy for my kitty Walked out with no store credit, me gift card, no me meds because I needed that money to purchase something else I ended up purchasing one of the meds and leaving the spray for Sara's hot spots that hurt her and she loses her fur

Courtney is incredible at grooming our dramatic Eddy. She truly gets his undercoat better than I can at any given day and he ends up looking ten times better than expected every time

Nice store, but no staff. Tried in vain to find someone to help me with some saltwater fish selections but after 30 minutes I gave up and left empty handed. It's a 35-40 min drive to the store so it's pretty frustrating to not be able to get what I wanted.
