Perry's Ocean Edge Resort - Resort hotel in Daytona Beach - 2209 S Atlantic Ave, USA

My husband and I had an amazing time all week long. The room was very ckean and beautifully decorated. Staff are very nice and helpful. Homemade donuts and coffee or juice in the morning was a pleasure, plus the very kind lady serving the donut made sure every table was clean and she was very welcoming just like we were family. Staff work very hard to keep this place nice and clean. We appreciate them all.

The room I had was nice. Bring your charging blocks, tho. They don't have USB ports for chargers, only plugs. Didn't really need much service, but the desk folk are kind and accommodating. Great beach view and access. Pools were nice and the tiki bar was fun. They make homemade donuts every morning with coffee and juice. I would stay again.

The ocean side view is fantastic. Rooms are spacious and large but need updating and better cleaning. The service wasn't great and I had to wait for 4 hours to get towels for the pool. The towels for the pool are the size of a hand towel.

I absolutely loved the view I had from my room! It was stunning all day! The donuts are beyond amazing and made with so much love while being greeted with a smile. Beautiful big bed and a great size room. Only down fall is maybe a little more room service, (change towels) but I could have just asked if I had to! The front desk was more than accommodating. The one pool I tried was always clean and great temperature! For the price it was great and id definitely stay there again!

The hotel is a very old hotel on exterior but all new renovated inside nicely. I arrived early and was so happy room was available. Be ready to walk and climb stairs. Elevator in building but you still need to walk up stairs to your rooms. Also you can only have one car. We had to pay $50 for a lot .5 miles down from hotel for my husband who came later to park his truck. The indoor pool area is very very hot but rooms were very nice cool and good size. My bathroom sink was plugged so maintenance came and fixed that, I told him phone didn't work in room called on cell, was told they are aware of that. But that evening as I was preparing to take a shower glass door exploded on me and all over. I didn't get cut but Maintenance said yep that happens. It was so scary!! I requested refund and drove 2 hrs back home. 1st time is last time. Thanks for refunding my money and I suggest housekeeping make sure rooms are in working order and safe for customers before letting them in.

We have stayed here several times. This hotel has been here for years but has recently been updated. There is a tiki bar on-site, two outdoor pools and an indoor pool. Home made donuts are available each morning. The staff is very helpful and friendly. Maintenance and housekeeping are great. Overall a wonderful experience.

This property is old and not very well maintained by the owner. We had quite a few problems during our week stay but the maintenance staff (especially Akeem) was so conscientious, responded quickly, and helped with every issue. The Housekeeping staff was also very good.|Issues:|1) Check-in is 4 p.m. but we couldn't get in the room until 4:45 p.m. after being in the lobby since 3. Immediately discovered a non-working TV but Akeem from Maintenance immediately brought us a new one with a better remote. The security lock was also broken and the daytime Maintenance crew fixed it immediately.|2) There is very limited parking for the South Bldg on the weekends.|3) Everything in the room was covered with a layer of moisture from the humidity. We requested and received a dehumidifier which we used for the week; it required emptying 2X per 24hrs.|4) The outside property is just a mess: no grass, just weeds and dirty sand, no landscaping, and piles of sand in front of the Tiki Hut (which is just a sad story itself).|5) Hallways, elevator, building exterior, breakfast room, etc. were in serious need of cleaning and upgrade.|6) There were a few tiny roaches in the bathroom 6 of the 7 nights we were there, even after being sprayed.|7) There are no tables with umbrellas in the enclosed pool area.||Positives: The room was spacious and looked renewed with nice flooring (no update to the bathroom). The two queen beds were very comfy and clean. Housekeeping was very pleasant and accommodating with changing out towels whenever we asked. The location is great and we loved walking across the street to the best IHOP in Daytona Beach area!

I've been coming to Daytona for 45 years lived there for 10 ,, this hotel was top of the line , beautiful grounds very well maintained... I don't know exactly what the problem is but you need some serious help out back , I'm from Florida I know when the hurricanes hit ..2 years ago . but it's a complete hazard out back, a lawsuit waiting to happen. .. there is no excuse for the way the back looks , even if you try to rope off areas that are damaged , keep up with the appearance of it.. even the roped off areas looked ridiculous like no one's put the fence back up around them after it feel fir awhile.. serious concret damage on steps , I'm surprised city code allows you to have people out back. Or for that fact your insurance company........ You can do better. Hotel room 10/10 clean , modern, supplied well.. kitchenette. I did book a balcony but got put on ground floor , wasn't very happy but they did offer me to move the next day, but I'd have to get out of my room and couldn't tell me when I could get into the new room , yeah let's juggle , a dog , kids , food , and all , all day .. how about you give me the room I booked. We did e joy our family time on the beach , and the room was nice.. I think our next Daytona trip will be at another hotel.
