The bad: When I first arrived there were no Valets to be found. It became very awkward as I wasn't sure if I should leave my vehicle or not. Then there was a car behind me that was trying to leave. I had to jump back in my vehicle to try a get out of their way. The roadway was very narrow and the whole thing became a hassle. Not the best way to start off our trip. We finally found a Valet who walked right past me. I guess I didn't look desperate enough. Anyhow I gave him our key and took care of us like any other hotel Valet. Been treated better at Arby's. Then there was the shower. It leaked a lot when taking a shower. Our bathroom floor was covered in water. Had to shower with towels covering the bottom of the shower window and door. We did this for a few days and it got out of control so decided to call the front desk.||||The good: The manager called me the very next day to try and figure out a way to make sure I was happy and not forgotten (regarding the Valet service). She offered to buy us lunch, etc. I appreciated the call very much. The front desk sent a maintenance person to our room right away and the sealed off the opening at the bottom of the shower window. There was still a leak under the shower door but we appreciated the attempt. ||||The verdict. I still say it was a great hotel. No place is perfect. It was our 10 year anniversary so I really wanted everything to be perfect for my wife. The attempt to try and fix our issues was much appreciated. Would be happy to recommend Perry Lane Hotel to a friend.

Very nice hotel in perfect location. Super friendly and eager to help staff, from the moment you walk in and are greeted with champagne- so nice!|Special call out to Joyd and Sy from the front desk, just incredibly nice and helpful. I have come to expect great service from Marriott over the years (lifetime Titanium), but Joyd and Sy took it to next level. Thank you!|Bars are unique and fantastic drinks which are formulated by their skilled bar tenders. Roof top is great!

The Perry Lane Luxury Collection is the epitome of southern luxury hospitality in the country’s most historically haunted city. This gorgeous property comes with everything from the most attentive staff to a rooftop pool. The rooms are quite spacious with double vanity sinks and the public spaces are stunning in every detail. Located right in the middle within walking distance of Forsyth Park, Riverstreet, the Savannah Bananas stadium, and downtown Savannah this hotel is the perfect choice for those wanting an escape but within walking distance of all the fun. A huge thanks to the amazing staff including Randy, Natalia, Jonathon, Bray, and Pops. Can’t wait to be back.

My husband and I really enjoyed our time at Perry Lane Hotel! The service was top-notch and the room was impeccable! One of the most luxurious hotels we've ever stayed. Upon arrival, we were greeted by friendly staff and given a complimentary glass of champagne (which you can enjoy everyday at no cost). Shout-out to Sy, who helped checked us in: personable and knowledgeable of the city (we appreciated his cafe and restaurant recommendations). We were upgraded at no additional cost, and what a treat that was! Spacious room with a gorgeous bathroom and comfortable bed. We both would gladly stay there again!

Specifics: This is a combined review from two stays about a month apart. I stayed in a Superior King room both times, once in the main building and then in the south building. Five days and nights total.||Check-in: Both occurred on a Friday night, so things were a bit hectic and obviously busy. I drove from across the state and elected to use valet parking; I waited no more than a few minutes for a staff member to address me and usher me into the main entrance. I was asked whether I needed help with luggage the second time but not the first. The main desk experience was professional and efficient, and I was noted as a Marriott member both times. Water and sparkling wine were proffered on the second check-in but not the first. Overall, a well-done job during what I’m sure is a bottleneck time at reception. (4.5/5)||Room(s): It’s a newer hotel and the rooms obviously reflect this. Although my goal is to not spend a tremendous amount of time in my room when I travel, it’s nice to have a thoughtful, artistic space to wake up in and retire to at the end of the day. Sleep quality was excellent and wi-fi impeccable. The bathrooms were spacious and very clean. Housekeeping missed a day of service but aside from this misfire things were solidly above average. (4/5) ||Dining/facilities: The builders/designers have thought through this property very carefully. It’s a newer hotel with a classic/artsy vibe that is equally welcoming and sophisticated. I visited the three main restaurants/bars on numerous occasions: the Emporium (six times), Peregrin rooftop (three times), and the Wayward (four times). Each of these has a uniquely different feel (and menu!) and, more importantly, they are equally good; nothing overlaps food-wise The pool and fitness center round out an almost-complete lineup of options that only misses a spa. (4.5/5)||Service: These. People. Are. Legit. I was fortunate to interact many times with several employees throughout my stay from numerous different areas of the hotel. Jennie (reception), David, Noah, and Jason (the Wayward), Jonathan (Emporium – breakfast), Richard (Peregrin), Caitlin (poolside) and Kevin and Chris (valet services) were excellent. Genuine greetings welcomed me wherever I went and any question about the area or hotel was answered directly or within seconds if the answer wasn’t obvious. There was overall a balance between friendliness and formality that is difficult to pull off. Two big thumbs up here and a double weighted score. (5/5)||Location: Yes, it’s a bit subjective but Savannah is a city that is meant to be discovered in one way: on foot. I was right in the middle of the historical district and literally around the corner from the theater and next to the cemetery. All major sites are within a fifteen-minute walk which for me is perfect as I had the opportunity to enjoy the atmosphere of the streets. (4.5/5) ||Cost: Not cheap, but you’re in a very special town with multiple competitors. Above average given the amenities offered (room and property) and perks throughout your stay (free sparkling wine and water). (4/5)||Summary: A fantastic property that has only one main drawback: it’s tough to leave! I look forward to making Perry Lane my home-away-from-home on my many future trips to the city. (4.5/5…. Rounding up to 5/5)

First time in Savannah and stayed at this absolutely beautiful hotel located in downtown Savannah. From the time we drove up into the breezeway until we left, we were so impressed with the facility and all of the staff who were utterly kind and welcoming. The service was impeccable, and such that many other hotels would do well to follow their impeccable standards.

From the second we stepped out of the car in front of Perry Lane, we were well taken care of. The greeters at the front door were always so kind and helpful. Joyd at the front desk is truly a gem! His smile and laugher brightened our day. Joyd, Jennifer, Freddy, Grace and Alyssa showed us what true southern hospitality is all about. The house car was a blessing! Pops made sure that we got to where we were going safely. He was a wonderful and dependable driver. ||At Perry Lane, we enjoyed the daily bottomless champagne, complimentary coffee, tea and water. We also relaxed in the beautiful rooms off of the lobby.||We chose to stay at Perry Lane because it had a roof top bar and pool. Peregrine was pretty and had beautiful views of Savannah. The drinks were great, especially the Froze. We were a tiny bit disappointed that there wasn’t corn hole like we saw in the advertised pictures. ||The pool area was “meh.” I’m not sure when the pictures posted online were taken but it looks nothing like that anymore. With the exception of the flooring. The pool attendant was friendly and offered us water and menus. We used the pool twice during our stay. It was a nice place to relax and cool off but definitely lacked the classy lounge atmosphere from the advertised photos. ||The area around the hotel felt safe and it was in walking distance to many attractions. There are several homeless people in the parks and near the river front but they don’t bother with you. However, we did feel uneasy a few times while in Forsyth Park. ||I would suggest taking the white hop on hop off trolley the first or second day of your trip. It was very helpful in determining where we wanted to visit and what places to avoid. The concierge will set it up for you and a shuttle will pick you up at the hotel! ||Overall, Perry Lane was a wonderful place to stay. Our room was spacious and clean. |I would stay here again based on the location and the southern hospitality that we were shown.

What a gem. This is a total find. The apartment is very large and has everything you need for a comfortable visit. We were two friends, so I used the sofa bed as an extra room. It worked very well - it’s big and comfortable and, if you ask, they’
