First time at Perla's and what a great dining experience! Great service, drinks and food! Best fresh oysters I've had in the states. The okra was fresh, seasoned and crunchy. The octopus appetizer was very tender and juicy. The lobster roll had plenty of lobster meat. Everything was delicious! I will definitely be back.
Top notch in literally any category you could put it in. I LOVED this place. Excellent staff, fresh fresh fresh seafood, attention to detail. It also wasn't a place trying to go over the top so much as is was trying to do quality seafood properly. Excellent choice, you will nit be disappointed.
Perla's was fantastic! The food was delicious and the staff was wonderful. It has quickly secured a spot among our favorite restaurants in Austin. Everything we ordered came out fresh and was a wonderful blend of flavors. If you have not dined at Perla's yet, do yourself a favor and book a reservation asap.
We absolutely loved this place. If you like oysters, you will be in heaven. The burgers were also amazing. We had a few drinks also that hit the spot. I definitely want to come back for breakfast and try it also. Definitely recommend.
The service was fantastic! The food was also great. I'll deduct a star because it was loud inside and while they do validate parking, you have to pay at least $26 then wait for a refund. The restaurant should not promise free parking but then require customers to front money. For the price point they charge, they could do much better.
Had a wonderful first experience. The waitress was helpful in selecting some oysters, as I'm not very experienced with them. Had the lobster roll and was impressed by how large it was. Would definitely come back here!
This was our first trip since 2014 and we had a lovely time. We had a late dinner and sat on the outdoor deck on a cool December evening. The waiter was incredibly friendly and gave us a free additional appetizer while we were waiting for our oysters. The oysters were fresh and delicious, and the shrimp in the shrimp cocktail were meaty and robust. The fish and chips was good, albeit with American-style string fries. The batter was delicate and flavorful. My wife had the lobster roll and was impressed by the quality and hearty portion. Altogether a thoroughly enjoyable evening!
One of the best brunch spots in Austin. If you can, get Mark as your server. He knows the menu inside and out and even has some cool off the menu recommendations. I usually go for the shrimp and grits but hit the lump crab omelets this visit. Perfect. The hollandaise sauce was on point and the salad with lemon vinegar dressing was a great balance.
